My kids were excited for this game especially with the included gun. However huge disappointment game is very slow seems to have lag issues no way the switch’s fault the switch can handle much better games than this much be a software issue with the game. Terrible buy

If you are playing with 2 or more players, the game can be fun. It does get a bit repetitive and tiring after a while. You have to get the ray gun(s) that come separately to make it a little more exciting for the young ones. I would have given one more star but the game can be a bit glitchy with the joy-cons. You have to constantly recenter the shooting crosshairs. Also, the initial setup with multiple players/joy-cons can be a bit tricky and frustrating. The game will lag during scenes of intense battle which can be annoying.

I bought this very cheaply, and was excited at the change to play an arcade type game with a hand gun on an LCD monitor. The gun is definitely cool but it's a bit hard to use. It's actually just easier not to use it, which takes away a bit of the fun. It's also hard to keep the shooting calibration, as it seems to drift. They give you a way to reset it while you're playing and you have to do it a lot.
My grandson and I played it a while and now neither of us do.

Martian Panic on Nintendo Switch is an absolute blast! This quirky and fast-paced arcade shooter delivers hours of fun. The unique premise of defending Earth from invading Martians adds an extra layer of excitement. The controls are responsive, and the colorful visuals are a treat. With its addictive gameplay and multiplayer options, Martian Panic is a must-play for fans of arcade shooters.

The game is fine. It's a corny shooter. I only ordered it because it comes with the gun. At least it was supposed to. If you order more than one copy it doesn't add the second blaster. I ordered two copies so we could play two player each with a blaster. Best Buy setup their system poorly and if you call them they can't ship just the blaster to you, even though it has a second skew and comes in a separate package. I was informed to return one of the games and then just reorder the item. Sure, I'll print out the mailer, go buy a box and tape and return it or go into a Best Buy store (nearest one is 45 minutes away, so almost two hours round trip to return it) and then pay full price to repurchase it, because they can't sell it to me at the sale price I initially bought it for, even though customer service admitted that Best Buy messed up by programming the system to only ship one. Horrible customer service. I'll shop at Amazon, Target or Wal-Mart from now on.

It’s a fun shooting game and if you have the blaster that comes with the game, it’s even more fun. The problem is having to continuously calibrate it every 3 seconds just to shoot enemies. Not sure why they did it like that but oh well.

Ridiculous, low budget fun. It is like playing a comedic take on a 50s sci fi martian invasion shooter - except its cleaner than Destroy All Humans. Quick On-Rails shooter levels that have you killing as many martians as possible while not killing any humans. Shooting certain objects gives you better guns and ammo. There are boss battles and some cutscenes with generous checkpoints if you die. The bundle comes with a Ray gun with sound effects (batteries needed). The feel of the controller actually was pretty good. You do have to sync it a few times during game play but if you simply point the gun in the center screen and sync than you are fine. It even co-op play that was fun with a friend (but you would have to buy another gun to get the full experience - but a regular joy con works great as well)
Overall, for the price it was worth it .

The graphics on the game aren’t the best and at times it’s glitchy but if you can look past that it’s loads of fun with the family especially if you have a spare blaster.

It was for $10 but I didn’t hurry up and I still got it for $20. I got it because it came with a space gun it works only with batteries this isn’t a rechargeable thing. You’re better playing it on the TV because sometimes the shooting isn’t accurate and Even then the shooting isn’t accurate enough? and you can play it without the gun too it has that option. The aliens look old school

We got the blaster that came with the game. Doesnt really work. Calibration ia horrible and every timw you aim off screen you have yo recalibrate. Game is fun for the price.

You’re not buying this game for an immersive well thought out and compelling story. As long as you take it for what it is a fun game of simplicity & silliness.
