Exelent product, the best center speaker. I would recommend

The clarity on this center speaker is just unbelievable. I have a Marantz SR7011 driving it (this of course helps, huh :-)). Anyway why would I pay Bowers & Wilkins pricing when this one sounds just as good. For the money, this center speaker can not be beat at any price in my opinion. Highly recommend it, no matter the investment you have in your theater system. It will fit perfectly!

I had never heard of Martin Logan speakers before the Best Buy guy showed me them. I use this center channel as part of my surround sound and it does the job. I wasn't initially gonna spend as much money but figured why not. I'm pleased with the speaker so far. I'm no speaker expert by any means so all the technical stuff doesn't really matter to me. It also looks real cool mounted on the wall under my TV.

Was building a surround sound system and came across this Martin Logan center speaker. Not only does it sound great, but it looks really nice. It's sleek. I happened to catch a deal on this one because the 8i model was just released. Happy with my purchase.

The Martin Logan motion 8 is an awesome center. Very dynamic. I have it paired with electromotion esl towers and denon avr3100 reciever. The sound is very smooth throughout the entire system.

I am not an audiophile, but definitely notice an amazing clarity from these speakers. Spent quite a bit of time in the magnolia room bouncing between the Def Tech and B&W. The B&W were a close second, but price was the deal killer and actually I felt the tweeter clarity was slightly better on the Martins. Only draw back to the motion design is they are somewhat directionally sensitive and there is some difference in the sound depending on where you are physically positioned in relation to the speaker, not enough of an issue for for my taste though.

Absolutely blows away the completion, has superb high notes and is not bulky sitting in the front of the room

I have been looking at Martin Logan center channels for the last year, I settled on buying the motion 30 to incorporate with my Polk audio front R and L with Polk satellite speakers and ML dynamo 700 w sub(amazing sub btw) for my 7.1 surround system. That is until I walked in to Best Buy and found this center channel on sale, I also ended buying 2 motion 4 bookshelf speakers that were on sale as well. The motion 4s sit on top of my floor standing R and L fronts to give me the crisp high frequencies accross my whole front. My theater system has finally come together with the addition of this center channel and the bookshelf speakers. Great bang for the $$$.

This is a bit high priced, but the sound difference is quite amazing. Very well balanced and really can hear dialogue in movies now. We had Nanosats that were used for all 5 speakers and this replaced one for the center and I would recommend this speaker to anyone.

I'm an audiophile nut. I currently own all Martin Logan speakers (Motion 2, 4 and Dynamo sub) purchased over 10 yrs. ago. I finally decided to replace an old center channel and wanted to stay with ML. Don't know what took me so long but saw the Motion 8 on sale. All I can say is Wow! A complete 180° from what I had (old Bose). The clarity and speech dialogue is just awesome (even at low volumes) as it packs a big punch. I would have paid full price. I also love the size as well. Highly recommended from the BB Magnolia sales staff and articles for the money, and a great addition to any speaker system and decent receiver (mine is Denon). I test drove the M8 and others in the demo room (many that were much higher priced, larger sized and very high end brands). The choice was very clear (pun intended). They just stood out and my decision was easy, and especially for my budget. The dispersion of sound with my surround speakers with tv broadcast and/or dvd's is brilliant! For those researching and looking for a center channel...seriously...check out the Motion 8. You will not be disappointed.

Worth every penny spent on these. Sound quality is on par with B&W. The sales person actually steered me away from B&W to get these. You will not be disappointed.

I looked online at reviews before I made this purchase. I wasn't disappointed. This makes watching TV like being in a theatre. I would recommend this Speaker to anyone looking to improve their surround sound system.

Very, very impressed with the sound. I am not an audiophile type. I wanted to fill my media room with as close to theater sound as my budget would allow.

matt at magnolia told me to get the martinlogan center channel for my system. he was right. rich clear sound come from it. great job matt

This speaker has a fantastic dispersion due to the ribbon tweeter. It fills the room with crisp sound not heard in other low end speakers.

I am not an audiophile and when talk turns to impedances and ohms my eyes glaze over. I want a solid system that sounds great. I readily admit that $50,000 worth of speakers would undoubtedly be wasted on me. My ear is simply not fine tuned to differentiate the very pricey sound range captured in speakers designed for those with the desire to invest in that level of quality. But, I do have standards. Speakers that are not subwoofers, yet muddy everything with heavy bass response, or those that have tinny upper ranges because of subpar tweeters are intolerable. No extraordinary sound that breaks the spell should exist.

This speaker makes everything sound better, we had a different one before we bought the martin logan and I am so happy with the choice to switch out the old for the new!

You will notice the craftsmanship and quality when you open the package. Pair this item with a good receiver and the sound is excellent. No complaints at all.
