This was supposedly delivered via USPS. The USPS website stated it was delivered to a locker, but a key was not available. Submitted a claim on the USPS website and awaiting a response.

It took far too long for this series to be put onto DVD for the patient (or impatient) X-men fans. But, alas, we now have been reconnected with our past. This entire series evokes many childhood memories and continues to entertain us decades later. I picked up the first and second volumes and as I was watching them (after not seeing them for 15 years or so), I realized how advanced the X-men storyline was for its time, what with the futuristic gadgests (some that resemble what is available in our present day) and ideas. Very cutting edge for its time, indeed. The only downside to the DVD that I can think of is thus: I wish that there were behind-the-scenes and other extras available on the DVDs. Perhaps some sketches or narration to go along with the storyline. Even without these extras, however, this is a great--especially for those of us who grew up watching the series on Saturday morning!

For any fan of the X-men or just comic books in general, this is widely regarded as the absolute best cartoon ever made. The creators made sure to keep as close to the source material as possibe by rewarding fans with faithful adaptations of some of our favortie story lines such as "Days of Future Past" and "The Dark Phoenix Saga." The writing, voicework (the guy who voiced Wolverine still voices him for other X-men shows and video games), art direction were all top notch and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy of this. But, like so many other great shows and movies it has taken far too long for this excellent series to see the light of day as a DVD release. Fans have been clamoring for years to see this and it's finally happening. About time!

its about time that they brought out the x-men cartoons in a 3 pack an each season sepertaly i can not wait i am going to by they right wen they come out on april 28 the first person to buy them is me can not wait very excited this was the best comic book now an the cartoon is even better becasue you get to watch the action not read abou it best cartoon ever

It is great to see the best televised version of the X-Men on DVD at last. Though it lacks any extras, the episodes speak for themselves. This series, especially the first two seasons, was solid gold. It brings back a lot of memories and knocks other versions of the X-Men story out of the water. Any Marvel, X-Men, or early-90s cartoon fan should complete their collection with this volume.

Brings you back to the old times of watching saturday morning cartoons when I was a kid. Really great to finally have this on DVD. I'm not a comic book freak or anything, but this is something that any x-men fan will enjoy. Get Volume 2 as well.

my favorite show from my youth is finally out on dvd. the quality is good, since it is such an old show it is not in widescreen- that is really the only disapointment.

I loved every episode !! It was like I was traveling with them to all the neat places!!

The X-Men series had good animation. The voices fit the characters. The stories were complex and had continuing sub-plots. I waited a long time for this to come out on DVD. The biggest problem with this collection that the episodes are out of order and only include three epidodes of the first year.

Buyer beware- this is a CHEAP transfer. Most episodes have missing dialog and missing music. It is not worth the money unless you're willing to accept D-grade material that is incomplete.
