I originally had started collecting the series on it's own. With Brian Michael Bendis in the writers chair I was sure that I was in for something special. Then just as soon as the comic was announced and released Bendis and crew closed down production on the book and Jessica Drew fell back into the dark in the Marvel Universe. :( What you have here is that exact comic book brought to life. Really it's that EXACT comic book they simply captured the images in the book and added some motion to them to give it some interest and movement. Unfortunately for those of us that have read the comic there was no new ground but if you haven't read it it would probably be a pretty cool watch. It's very dark and very violent. I dug the comic I just wished that the DVD would have brought more to the table.

The animation is still motion/manga. It reminds me of listening to a radio show with pictures as a guide. By listening to the plot, it is very interesting but not worth the money. The cover is cute. Don't even wait for the $4.99 special. You've been warned.

This was horrible. Still shot cartoon with no clarity, vision, or direction at all. Plot wasn't even O.K. If I could have given it a ZERO I would have! Just like the other guy said like listening to the radio. Wasted an hour of my time. Don't rent it, buy it, or borrow it! Just move on and forget that this was even made. You HAVE BEEN warned TWICE now!
