This game has been such a pleasant surprise! I felt like I was taking a huge gamble after Avengers fell pretty flat, but this has really made up for it in my eyes. The scenery is beautiful, the banter is hilarious, and the story is engaging. The movement and combat mechanics took a bit of getting used to, and every now and then I'll glitch out and require a checkpoint reload. But overall this game is a blast and has replay value, the steelbook case is really well done too!

Guardians of the Galaxy is a game that rests upon its main cast of characters which thankfully do not try to capture the magic of the MCU cast, but rather create a unique spin on the Guardians that creates a compelling camaraderie. The action gameplay is not revolutionary, it is rather simple but fun enough due to the various options presented to you; ultimately this is a game that truly is fun due to the relationship between the characters.

Great graphics, great gameplay, story and character design. Definitely enjoying this game so far.

I walked in BB store on Dec 14 2021, I went to games area. I was just looking PS5 games till saw Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Deluxe Edition there. I thought they sold out. I grab it. I checked online on my smartphone. It said, "sold out". I wonder why it was there! I was surprised. I bought it quickly. It was last one. Wow. So, it was fun to play game. GG. You should buy it.

The gameplay is fun and nothing new, but surprisingly the story and writing is what will keep you hooked and wanting to go back to play. They do just a good job as the movies at making you get emotionally connected to the Guardians

What a great game. It's literally like playing through an unreleased Guardians of the Galaxy movie! Dialogues (and lots of it!), humor, voice acting and soundtrack are on point. Gorgeous visuals but linear gameplay and storyline, which is a refreshing break from all the open world games I recently finished (Horizon, Cyberpunk 2077, Immortal Fenyx, Tales of Arise, Xenoblade).

While I do love a good big open world RPG, it’s also nice to have a good quality linear game like this that respects your time. There’s nothing groundbreaking here but the writing is very good, the story is fun, and the characters are great. Overall a very good single player game that can be finished in around 20 hours. Perfect for me.

It’s a great story with a great personality… or should i say, personalities? Because they all bring what you’d expect with the bickering. But at the end of the day, it feels familiar yet fresh. This is The Guardians at their best! If you love the movies, you’ll love this!

I was very excited I got this last copy of the deluxe edition at my local store for Black Friday. The story is amazing which is why it won Best Narrative story at The Game Awards. Definitely recommend over other Marvel game by SquareEnix.

I wanted a game to play until Call of Duty Vanguard came out, so I picked up Guardians of the Galaxy and Wow i was really impressed. It was a fun game, it has a cool story and gameplay was engaging!

This one is a unique gamerverse take on Marvel’s Gaurdians of the Galaxy. Its not quite as great as Insomniac’s Spider-Man on PS but it is very good. The combat is simple and quick and the characters constantly crack jokes and make comments while you play. Graphics are gorgeous on next gen consoles and PC. Cutscenes and storytelling are very well done in this one.

Great looking game and fun gameplay. Better than I expected. One of my favorite parts is the licensed music integrated into the gameplay like Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up.
