Listen...this game is fun. Are the graphics a little wonky? Yes. Is narrative style a bit outdated? Absolutely. Yet, despite all of this I enjoyed this game immensely. The actual meat of the game, the levels, are fun and varied. There is an interesting hub area you get to explore, and not only is it massive, but there are interesting puzzles and side stories there too. Marvel characters are depicted well and the voice acting is pretty good - with the exception of your character. Your character is kinda bland but its not too big a deal. Tl;DR - Fun gameplay despite questionable graphics. Worth $30, anything less is a steal. Grab if you like XCOM and/or Marvel comics. You will have fun

This game is actually fun and good! I enjoy the combat a lot, and I especially enjoy playing as Blade. The dialogue is a little poor at times, but overall the game is good!

I loved this game more than I thought. Midnight Suns has great characters, moves Marvel stories in a fun and dramatic direction and has some fun strategy card mechanics. Not normally a fan of these types of games, but the tutorial mission into the story is a great freshining instead of simply being another action game. You have turned based battles against enemies using cards. With your characters, combine attacks where you choose a card to have your character attack, defend or charge up. In some cases you can reposition your character to then use an attack to thrust enemies into each other and build up more points to use a stronger attack. When not battling you can traverse the mansion, chat with other heroes and unlock more areas to explore. The characters themselves have been a treat and the dialogue funny yet not Marvelly over-witty. Unfortunately, this game did not sell well and layoffs have already come for the developer. For the price that this is dropping to, I say give it a shot if you are a fan of Super Hero Games but also fun strategy games.

Honestly, I was surprised on how fun the combat is! This title have lots of potentials, but put aside the great gameplay, the character model and plot lines are just terrifying...I do hope one day Marvel can be serious really look at their IPs out there because studios are not going to care about visual quality standards for each character. So it's up to Marvel to review them and approve the character model designs. But anyway, if you love Marvel Super heros, then this game is fun for sure..

I got a chance to play this for a Free Weekend. I was concerned on giving this a try as I was not familiar with the RTS games. After a while, I got sucked into the gameplay and story which I was surprised was so thought out. The strategy mechanics are pretty addicting and really intuitive. The learning curve isn't too steep, but it did take some getting used to especially since it's all about deck building. The main negative is the graphic fidelity feels very dated which can be off-putting. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Fortunately, the actual game makes up for it. If that doesn't deter you then, it's definitely worth your time.

I haven’t finished it yet but so far I love it. I’m into card games but the strategy behind the game play is very fun, always having to think a few moves ahead.

Having plan marvel games for mostly all my life I should have researched this game I didn't know it was a card game which get kind of frustrating the graphics and everything with the game is excellent and the play will even be accident but anytime you have to fight you got to pull out a different card I thought it was going to be like ultimate alliance and ultimate alliance too or something like Batman Arkham asylum that's why I gave it 4 out of five stars

While hardcore strategists may look at this and think it's targeting a more accessible audience, they are depriving themselves of a great experience. The card system in Midnight Suns works very well. The ability to use your heroes' powers and team abilities is satisfying. The story is excellent too, for both Marvel fans and strategy fans alike.

I was unsure heading into this purchase because of the card system. However after playing I fell in love with the game. I’m a huge Xcom and Firaxis fan and they did a great job with the atmosphere, game play and honestly the cards. The voice acting, progression and atmosphere were well done. I recently completed my first play thru and looking forward to Newgame+ and trying different tactics. The Deadpool DLC was well done and added a different group of villains to go up against. Enjoyed the new challenges. It’s not Xcom and the cards will at times make you want to pull your hair out after setting up a great strategy. However it’s no different from Xcom where you’ve got a 99% chance to hit and you still miss. It happens … cards won’t always be what you want but you learn to adapt. Take a chance on the game… you won’t be disappointed.

Originally i wasnt going to olay this game. But had a buddy of mine talk very highly of it. So i have a chance and i mist say i don’t regret this purchase. I have not been able to put the control down. With so many abilities and ways of playing the game. I always find something new.

Not what i expected for gameplay. But actually turned out to be quite fun to play

Good game. Usually not my kinda of game, I’m a big fan games like Devil May Cry-but this surprised me.

This game is so fun it has the right amount strategy and humor for any fan of this genre. Would definitely buy a part 2...

Honestly much better than i thought it would be, I love it, the game is addictive and the combat and systems are deep. It has the spirit of those old ultimate alliance games that I love. The gameplay isn’t the same though.
