The Mass Effect series is one of my favorites. Mass Effect 3 on the WiiU really takes advantage of the Game Pad by having abilities and the mini map mapped to the touch screen.

Amazing game, just as fun on the Wii U as if on any other system plus the DLC is free

If you've played the other Mass Effect games, it's a no brainer to pick this one up. The only problem with it, and it's a big one, is that the previous 2 games weren't available on Wii U and therefor you can't have a character carry over from the previous two games or really see how the big decisions play out in the universe.

This a great port of this game. Fun to play online.

If you've played the other Mass Effect games in the series, you will be playing this. You have to. It would be like watching the first two Lord of the Rings movies and stopping before the Return of the King. This version has some neat features exclusive to the Wii U as well.

As an adaptation, it's somewhere between PS3 and Xbox 360, but one way or another it's an outstanding game. However, it's quite weird playing the end of a story, no matter how many comics we find along the way

Mass Effect 3 is an amazing game still leaving us hungry for even more. It looks and plays great, but Mass Effect 3's true strength lies in its ability to tell a deeply-woven story.

Specifically, the WiiU version provides the map on the WiiU controller. This can be very helpful to those who are playing through the game for the first time, but I think if you own the game already for the PC/XBOX/PS3 it isn't enough reason alone to buy it for the WiiU. I happened to obtain a WiiU at a heavily discounted price and wanted one game to try the 'revolutionary' new game-pad out. It is really neat, don't get me wrong, but it's not utilized enough for ME3 to constitute a separate purchase for those who already own the game. I originally played all 3 games on my PC and still enjoy the profoundly better graphics over the WiiU version. Speaking to the game itself, it's an ending to the best trilogy I've had the pleasure to play. Fantastic story, character development, and delivery. Could have used an alternative to the planet surfing, but I guess the developers felt the breaks in action were necessary to provide depth and scope to the galaxy. Not a game-changer; I still enjoyed the game immensely. Just an afterthought. ME2 remains my favorite game of all time and I felt this a worthy finale. One can read many bad reviews of the ending of ME3, online. I just don't understand the discontent. I was fully engaged in the series until the end of the trilogy, and didn't rejoice at the ending either. However, my lack of enthusiasm was due only to the fact that I didn't want this wonderful gaming experience to be over. Alas, all good stories, and things, have an ending, else they become the opposite of what we enjoyed in the first place. Sometimes our own desires, hoping a series will continue to entertain in spite of its need to resolve, get the better of us.

I thought this game was a nice purchase as a pre-owned title for the price. Would recommend to any fans of the genre.

Fun game for the Wii U where these types of games are lacking

I was walking in my best buy store when I saw this randomly sitting in the wrong place. It was $10 and a friend recommended I play it.

This is a mass effect game for wii u. What is there not to love?

I'm new to the Mass Effect series and this game is the first game in the series that I've played. There's about a 20 minute comic book style intro that catches you up on the past 2 Mass Effect games. Pick this one up used and save some $$$. Worth every penny!

Got a good deal on the game however it left me longing for the fuller mass effect games on Xbox/PS4. But I like to play on the Wii U so my son can join in. Basically this will tide me over until ME Andromeda comes out.

This game got a lot of great reviews, so I figured it'd be worth a shot. Unfortunately, I think you really have to be a fan of this type of game to get into it. It was not for me.
