A Disappointment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mediocre graphics. Bad writing and voice acting. Lots of glitches. A very disappointing game after the original trilogy.

Big letdown to core fans, unfinished game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pre-ordered. The game has great combat elements and had the potential to be the definitive game in the series. Unfortunately, EA/Bioware did not put enough polish into the game and was released unfinished. They should have kept it in development for another year to iron this out. Sucks but overall the game is decent and offers a lot of content, Will be worth it when the price drops.

Not the best, not the worst
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I believe this game got more bad press than it deserved. While it wasn't the best Mass Effect game it certainly isn't a terrible game. I'm sad that this might be the last Mass effect game ever made.

Great additional game to play
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed another game to play, while I wait for Black Friday to come out so I could get all the fall games that came out. I have enjoyed the game.

A fun adventure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, Mass Effect is my all time favorite series, so I was excited to start playing Andromeda. I believe the game has received a lot of unnecessary negative attention. The game itself is fun and gives players a great sense of exploration. I don't feel the same connection I did to the old crew, but I still have enjoyed my time within the Andromeda universe.

A little rough, but solid return
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Long story short, this game has some issues in regards to the writing and animation quirks. That being said, the gameplay is fantastic and a great evolution for the franchise. And multiplayer is just as awesome as well. ME: Andromeda will only get better from here on out.

More mass effect, always a good thing.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's not the best entry in the series, has its ups and downs, especially in the writing. The graphics are fine, and most of the quirks have been ironed out with patches. Worth playing, if only for a glimpse at where the mass effect series might be headed.

Good game if you can get over the animation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I knew about the facial animation issues with this game when I bought it. Overall the story has been decent and gameplay has been fun. There are some wonky things that really aren't explained in the game mechanics, but I'm not even sure you need any of those to play and win this game in a normal difficulty.

A true successor to Mass Effect 1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.NOTE: The product came as download-only instead of/ in place of a disc. Therefore it requires downloading the game before installing. I haven't had a chance to play it much yet, but overall it feels like a return to many of the style choices of ME 1 compared to the more shooter-focused gameplay of ME2 and 3.

Not the Mass Effect you want
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Besides the numerous bugs and graphical gripes this game had when it launched and whether or not they plan on being fixed, there is a decent game here. It is the continuation of the Mass Effect series that was great just a few years ago, but it's not the continuation that fans or potential newcomers may want. Quests can be bland and unfulfilling, characters are wooden and motivating, the story is half-cocked and the game itself doesn't really seem to follow through in other major areas. It's still a decent game, but it's not a great game. You can play it for a while but, you might not like at the end of it.

Big mass effect fan but game was ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did like the game but some bugs have made the experience a little lackluster. A lot of activities to do and ok story made me glade I bought on sale.

Good game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've enjoyed Mass Effect: Andromeda. The crafting and inventory seem a little hard to manage, but the combat and exploration has me really into the game.

A worthy entry following needed updates
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There has been much said about this title and I would rather not be redundant to what others have contributed, so let me briefly state that the massive amount of vitriol that exists for this title is absolutely unwarranted. The beleaguered animations have been updated considerably post-launch, and for anyone who has previously enjoyed this series, please rest assured that you will be right at home. This may admittedly not be the best entry of the franchise, but it is a perfectly enjoyable sequel that is well deserving of your time and money.

Besides the animations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: the combat is fun. It feels like Mass Effect. Cons: The story isn't gripping. The voice acting is awful since all aliens sound like humans. There is an animation for going to planets that gets so repetitive that I had to take a break after 10min. Overall: just go play the originals. It's cheaper and you'll have way more fun.

Great fighting with some rough edges
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been enjoying the game, and I do love the combat options. And I've really only scratched the surface with the abilities in combat. I am however disappointed with the lack of openness of the game. Before launch, I was sold on the idea that i could explore the new galaxy, but almost every planet is limited to: "fly up to it, scan it for 2 seconds and fly away." This is NOT an open world game. I'm not sure why they tried to convince us of that in the marketing. Also, some of the characters and especially faces, have the quality of a Sims character. Over emoted, and not realistic. Feels like the took a step backward on the character realism.

Fun but not without some flaws
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am enjoying the story, loving the combat and having some fun in multiplayer. I feel some of the characters could use better animations and have better personalities though.

Mass Effect series Fan's game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is more geared for people who have played the other 3 games with all of the references, but new players are just as likely to enjoy the rich story driven game.
