As a Danganronpa fan I loved the game! Some ideas could be improved but I think it was enjoyable especially towards the end. I really love Shinigami.

Loved the game (I've never played the spiritual prequals by the way) it was hard for me to put it down every night. For this edition in particular The steelbook is really nice/high quality and I loved the CD despite it having only a few tracks (but at least the key ones were included). The plushie is rather fun though I personally prefer keeping it in the box as it doesn't really sit up by itself so it'd be hard to display it somewhere. The other bonuses are nice too. Overall I'd say you should go for this edition over the regular edition if you can spare the extra coin.

Feels like an Ace Attorney game made by the Danganronpa devs with a little inspiraton from AI Somnium Files. Fans of mystery visual novels should definitely check it out! It also happens to be one of the best looking games on Switch, a title I wouldn't have expected a visual novel to hold. The rainy neon in this game really pops on an OLED Switch or TV. The limited edition itself is nice too, with a high quality plush, hardcover art book, Steelbook (with original game case included as well), and soundtrack on CD. It's worth noting that the CD is in a paper slipcase rather than a jewel case, however.

As a longtime fan of Danganronpa, what I wanted out of Rain Code was a similar experience with a flashy new coat of paint. For the most part, Rain Code delivers on that expectation - a great soundtrack, stylish visual presentation, good voice work and a solid script, and some memorable cases to solve. A few of the cases are more filler than anything and the entire experience goes by a bit quicker than I was hoping (though that may have just been because I was so engrossed in it), but Rain Code more than lives up to its creators' reputation.

This is such a fun game, anyone who is a fan of the Danganronpa games is going to love this one! I was searching all over for this game, especially the collectors set. Two employees helped me order it online and it shipped two days later just in time for me to play over the long weekend. Perfect game and a lovely experience.

Not only is this brilliant, but the limited edition is just...far more than I could imagine. The book is gorgeous, the stuffed plush is so soft, the only part I didn't quite understand was why there was a tin case, but also the regular Switch case? Why not just put the game in the tin case, I have no idea. Beautiful display piece though.

Another great Spike Chungsoft CE. Mainly got this for the Artbook, Steelbook and physical CD soundtrack. The Plushie is high quality and entire CE is packaged nicely. Overall, interesting and fun gameplay! WARNING: Does Not contain Season Pass (Sold Separately)!

Do you like to hold forward and run down long, really long, seemingly endless hallways without obstacles?
Do you like the tried and true anime trope of over explaining the exact same plot point ad nauseam?
Do you want to play a story, have it recapped, read about the same story, have it recapped, and then be quizzed on story before it gets recapped again as a pretty story book?
Do you want an annoyingly quirky sidekick to frequently make up new rules and have seemingly no consistency in her abilities?
Do you want another story where the player character (the protagonist) has amnesia and your helper sidekick knows more details about the cause of your amnesia but absolutely refuses to divulge any information surrounding your gaps of knowledge?
Do you like losing health because you answered a question wrong, but there’s a system in place wherein you gain points to make multiple choice exams easier?
If you answered ‘no’ to any of these questions, then you’re sane and should avoid this “game” like the plague. Slow doesn’t begin to encapsulate the beginning. But the art style is nice.

I was interested in the game because I like mystery and detective style games, and the producer Spike Chunsoft has made games I've loved before. The story is interesting and I grew to really like the characters. The gameplay is good, but a bit limited by switch hardware. As for the special edition, it was exactly what wanted. I especially like the art book!
