Beautiful Sound in a Beautiful Package

When it comes to sound, Master & Dynamic have been strong contenders in the premium headphone space. The MW07 is a worthy addition to their line up, representing the best ear buds (wireless or otherwise) I’ve heard. Bottom Line: Master & Dynamic’s MW07 delivers on the premium price’s promise. The serious sonics, careful comfort, and delightful design combine to create high quality cans you will want to listen to all day. True wireless is a category invented by Apple with their Airpods. While I laughed at the need at first, I’ve come to appreciate the comfort in not having any wires to deal with when working out or even just moving around on the subway. I’ve had several pairs of bluetooth headsets in many different styles. The over the head sets can get a little sweaty. The necklace style with connected buds sound good, but have gotten caught on my neck in the summer time or on a crowded subway car and start to fall out. True wireless has been very comfortable, but not always a good sound or easy to control. The MW07 solved all of that. Sound: These buds sound better than any previous pair I’ve owned. They sound crisp across the spectrum and show incredible detail which rivals wired headsets. Despite having a single driver, they deliver both high and low notes simultaneously on tracks like Pink Floyd’s Shine on you Crazy Diamond. They’re also highly accurate, showcasing Adele’s raspy vocals and Zac Brown Band’s harmonies with equal facility. Using the right size ear tip is critical to delivering bass that’s high impact without being punchy. In fact these have a very flat sound curve with no frequency range emphasized above another. This makes both Pacabell and Panic! At the Disco sound equally good. In 10 hours of listening, I did not have any dropouts within 30 feet of my phone. There’s decent sound isolation, but these are not noise cancelling. They work well in even in a gym, but don’t expect a complete sound bubble. Like most earbuds, these need some break in time before they’ll sound their best. I have a playlist featuring a variety of music that’s been breaking in headphones for the past several years. Most sets don’t start sounding good until 30 hours of playing. These sounded good after 3 hours. Comfort: These fit entirely within your ear with some fins catching your ear ridge to hold it firmly in place. Master & Dynamic include 5 sets of silicone ear tips and 2 fin sizes to help you find the right size. Fans of Comfy foam may be a little disappointed, but I found the included tips to be comfortable for several hours of use. Wearing glasses, I appreciated the lack of an ear hook. Never did they come close to falling out. The small buttons were easy to access and activate. I liked the physical controls better than J-Labs touch sensitive sides. You can take out the left ear bud and still listen to music or make phone calls. However, you cannot switch. The right bud connects to your phone while the left only connects to the right. Style: The MW07’s look as good as they sound. The shape mirrors your ear with a rounded back and flat front which makes them look like a musicians ear monitor. They’re available in 4 colors with unique designs on the non-black choices. The charging case is polished stainless steel which is sure to grab attention. Battery Life: In my testing, these played for the 3+ hours as claimed on the spec page. Charging takes ~ 1.5 hours to climb back to full strength. The case requires a USB-C cable (included). You’ll need to provide your own charger, though. An adapter allows you to use older USB chargers, but it will operate more slowly. Calls: In a quiet environment these will deliver a clear sound to your callers. They do not have any noise cancellation which can make for a difficult call outside or in a noisy office. The mic works fine for voice control (i.e. Google, Amazon, Siri). These should not be your first choice if your spend your day talking on the phone. Overall: If you can afford these, you will not be disappointed.

My initial response was man they are expensive. But after putting them on, I'm glad I purchased. First, I love that they are stereo for phone calls and they have the largest driver out of all the ones I've researched. Mine came with a stainless steel charging case as well. These are perfect for bout two hours of continuous use, then you have to charge them. The great news is that you are suppose to get up to a 40% charge in about 15 mins.

When it comes to earbuds, I’m very picky. I want ones that fit comfortably in my ears, ones that I can wear for a while without my ears starting to hurt, long lasting battery and great sound. The Master & Dynamic MW07 EAR BUDS not only meet my requirements, they exceed them. Right out of the packaging they’re ready to go. No pushing buttons to pair them with ALL my devices, just take them out of the case, put them in my ears, and pair away! I have paired them with my Samsung Galaxy S8, Dell laptop, Kindle tablets (2 of those) and iPad Air 2. Each one only took a few seconds to pair. No pushing of buttons to wait for the LED light to blink. They even connected to my laptop Cortana immediately as well as Alexa on my tablets. Bixby is a little more challenging as it didn’t recognize some of the words I was saying. Now for sound quality – These are above all the best earbuds I own! The sound is clear with no background feedback, or static. I put them in, put my Pandora on my smartphone, and was able to walk all around the house doing my various chores without any breakup in sound or sound quality. The phone calls come in clear and concise and the party at the other end can hear me without any feedback or distortions. I did go outside while wearing them as a plane went overhead, I found it a little heard to hear the person on the other end. I listened to several types of music to test the quality of different acoustics. The sound was clear and sharp with the pop music, classic rock, classical, easy listening and blues/Jazz. I’ll be using these a lot. I wore them for about 2 hours and the sound got better as they were “breaking in”. The charging case is stainless steel and extremely rugged (I did accidentally drop it when I took the buds out). The USB-C is the same one I use for my cell phone, so charging it won’t be a problem. It does come with USB-C and a USB-A adapter. I haven’t had to charge the case yet as it’s still fully charged since I got it a couple of days ago. The MW07 comes with a carrying pouch for the charging case with the earbuds. The pouch is OK, just made of velvet with a push open. I wish the pouch was a little padded to protect the case better. But there is plenty of room in it for the case so that it’s easy to get in and out. Comfort – The MW07 fits very comfortably in my ears and have a wide range of ear tips and wings to fit just about any size ears. My advice, since there is no cable connecting them together, make sure you pick the ear tips that fit snugly but comfortably in your ears. If they are not perfectly placed, they can fall out. They aren’t noise cancelling, but outside sounds are muffled enough so that you can hear what you’re listening to clearly. Even pouring rain doesn’t affect the sound quality, which is a definite plus for me. Battery life – the charging case should last for at least 3 charges, before it has to be recharged, though I haven’t had to charge the case yet. The earbuds themselves lasted for over 3 hours, as is stated. They took less than 45min to charge fully in the case. Outside noise – these aren’t noise cancelling, so you do hear some noise if you are out in an environment that has cars, trucks and planes in the area. If you want to talk on the phone, try to find a quieter place to do so. They are great for listening to music while walking. If you plan on going running or jogging with them, make sure you choose snug fitting ear tips and wings so the don’t fall out. Overall, they are well worth the price. For me they give me the same quality of sound as other top brands that I own. I would recommend these for anyone wanting clear sound, comfort and no wires.

Master and Dynamic made some pretty tech with these earbuds and while I have a couple of disadvantages for you they are very nice earbuds. For me there are two downsides: the hardware installed in the Bluetooth functions fail in connectivity when I’m in motion. I wear these in the car, walking and such so when the music or podcasts begin to skip like a CD I have a bit of a issue. Next is the distance I walk from my device and how it totally disconnects from my phone. As long as you plan on being right by the earbuds and your phone your music plays fine. Crisp instruments and some great bass in these earbuds. I live in a new construction area and bulldozers are always banging things so I wear these and they drown out the noise. I love listening to my meditation sounds of rain on theses, the rain drops sound like it’s happening right outside, Elvis and his song “Let It Be Me” sounds amazing and the acoustics played so well. I also played some Drake and boy does the bass play reall well and it is concert quality listening. The carrying case and whole design is beautiful. I wish I would have gotten a color but the case and earbuds are nice. In the era of USB-C equipment I’m glad they used that as the charging port. These will be used at my desk and on trips. They are definitely a conversation piece of art and deliver great music when stationary. Enjoy!

This is my first pair of Bluetooth/wireless headphones and I can’t look back. Going in I was concerned about sound quality, logistics, and mostly comfort, within minutes of use all of these fears were qualmed. The packaging is classy, coming in what a box that folds open like a book revealing a stainless steel case for your headphones with the headphones pre-charged inside and instructions to use and additional accessories below the surface. The headphones immediately enter Bluetooth pairing when removed from the case and set up was a breeze. When you’re done using the headphones you just insert them back into the steel case where they recharge until you’re ready to use again. The steel case has a charging point and holds about 6 charges for the headphones, each lasting about 3 hours. It’s all a breeze. I’ve used the headphones with the default wing tips and buds but there around a dozen combinations of different sizes to choose from that will fit any ear. Sound quality is very solid, and the bass is much better than expected. The headphones immediately pause your music if removed one is removed from your ears and both have buttons on top to control volume and pause/play manually. I have been bragging about these to anyone that would listen for a week now and will never go back to corded headphones again

Lately, I've been in search of a set of true wireless earbuds with noteworthy quality sound... and my search is over. My evaluation criteria: The sound is most important, the fit and convenience is second, the quality/reliability is important, but third in line. If the sound isn't 9+ then it's no go! I own: 1. Apple AirPods (2nd gen) - sound is ok, probably a 7. The convenience factor though is awesome. Nice connectivity with my iPhone, iPad, iWatch and iWhatever. I like these and use them when I'm seeking convenience with acceptable sound quality. 2. Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless - Sound is exceptional, as good as I might expect from true wireless earbuds. What caused me to keep looking for the perfect true wireless experience is the battery drain issues associated with these earbuds. Also, they often do not disconnect from my iPhone when placed in their case. The internet is riddled with user dissatisfaction over these design flaws, flaws that I've experienced first-handedly. I honestly never know if they will be connectable when removed from their case. Though the sound is impressive, I'm unable to rely on them, so I no longer carry them with me. 3. Jabra Elite Active 65t - No go on the sound... for me, at best I rate the sound at 6. Sorry Jabra... I believe my 2nd gen Airpods are better soundwise, while being functionally more convenient, and of higher build quality. Now, for the Master & Dynamic MW07 - WOW!!! True rock star quality in all regards. I know, sound is subjective, but for me, they are exceptional in this category. When wearing, I'm surrounded by immersive sound... a pleasingly wide soundstage. To my ears, they are the best earbuds I've encountered. The MW07's fit and comfort is also exceptional. I can wear them all day... no discomfort. The MW07's build screams of high quality. I absolutely adore the shiny metal case, and the clever three lights showing battery status of the individual earbuds and the case. I feel emotionally rewarded when I see them in the morning, open them up, insert them into my ears, and roll in the quality of their immersive sound. OK, so I'm overly satisfied, and exuberant to match. I'm just pleased to have ended my search for the perfect true wireless earbuds on the market, today.

This is my first time to buy Master and Dynamics brand. When it comes to earbuds, first thing I may pay attention to is the fit and quality of sound and here I can tell those earbuds impressed me. Quality in those earbuds is significant and has taste of luxury. Case is sturdy and made of stainless steel thats gives a classy look, in terms of sound quality is premium and crispy clear and multi functions button is well designed in which you can forward and backward tracks,in addition to activate voice assistant (Siri, Google). Very well made and sound is incredible. The charging case is storage also has 3 led lights indicate battery level for each bud and the case itself is very useful.

When it comes to sound, I seek the best. The sound quality of the MW07 headphones is what drew me to them. When I tried them, I was amazed at the quality of sound that they produced. They are very comfortable, and fit well in my ears. I haven't had them fall out, even when jogging or exercising. The only drawback to them is the battery life. They require charging after about 3 hours, and the charging case that comes with them is good for 3 charges. Overall, I highly recommend these headphones for anyone looking for quality performance, provided battery life isn't a concern.

Purchased these new on clearance for more than 50% off MSRP at Best Buy. Although there are some flaws present, overall I'm pleased with how they function when factoring what I paid. I do not listen to much music on these, mainly for audiobooks, just an FYI. After two months I have never been able to get the pair function/mode to work. After following the instructions provided by M&D (holding down the right button until indicator starts flashing) absolutely nothing happens. I've tried many times with no success. They will, however, enter pairing mode automatically once removed from the charging case. Pull them out, and once connected to a device, they auto-connect to it every time they are removed. Connection is fast and each bud vibrates individually once they're ready. Since I use them exclusively for one device, pairing issues don't affect me. Others may see this as an issue, and I agree, it is. Loudness is fine, not amazing. Don't expect it to blow your ear drums. They do mute your surroundings, so you won't be able to hear anyone talk to you when using them. They produce a decent, rich sound, fit snugly in my ear, and never fall out. My ear ridges get a bit sore after hours of use but that's a shared problem with all buds for me. Lasts about 3 hrs of continuous use. Charging case and materials are top notch! Case scuffs easily but honestly it's still the nicest case I've ever seen attached to earbuds. Not great for calls, feedback has been negative when used as a mic. Overall, great feel and look, some issues with functionality though. I'd still buy a second pair at clearance price.

The Good: These earbuds had the best sound I ever heard in earbuds. Rich, full sound, balanced and a strong, tight base that is surprising for something so small. It also was a great fit with those feathered wings. They are so comfortable and they stay put without having to jam them into my ears. In comparison, I also tried the B&O earbuds. They were nowhere near as good on either sound or comfortable, easy fit. The bad: The battery life was more like 2.5 hours than 3.5. I travel a lot and I needed 3 hours minimum. So they failed me. If you can recharge them more frequently, then these are the best around.

These headphones are so much better than anything out on the market right now the only thing close would be the Sennheiser momentum but I did not honestly try though! These fit all the needs I have! The only thing I would ask for an aversion to would be a little bit better battery life outside of that these are amazing! I love the fit on these I'm usually not a fan of your buds that go inside your ear but the little wingtips definitely help and they are so comfortable!

So when I picked up these earbuds, despite all the rave reviews, I was skeptical. I have a particular taste in sound quality. I like my music natural sounding but with an equal emphasis on vocals and instruments. Beats are too muddy and the bass in them is artificial and muddy.. to me that is. Other truly wireless earbuds often focus on one part of sound (treble or bass) or mashes everything together, making them sound dull and monotone. Not horrible, but definitely not good. I've tried Jaybirds, Sol Republic, Samsung Icon X (both generations) and Bose Sound Sports. The best sounding would have to be the Bose ones, but they're so big that they interrupt my workout. These Master and Dynamics.... are...90% perfect. Sound, perfect Looks, perfect, Charging and battery, perfect (could be a bit longer, but it really wouldn't make a different for me as my workouts aren't over 3.5 hours) Quality, perfect. The only thing I would want different is a form of touch controls instead of buttons and the ability to store music. Other than that, these earbuds are amazing. It's almost annoying how perfect they sound for earbuds. Be careful if you make this purchase, you'll never want to go back to anything else.

I’ve used jaybirds, Bose, Sony, Denon, AirPods, and sennheisers wireless headphones in the last and not one of them ever left me satisfied and I always ended up with my bulky over the ear headphones to achieve the sound and fit I wanted. These Masters though....... they’re amazing! The sound is unbelievable with bass that can rival my big over the ear headphones. The fit is amazing as well, never have I once even thought that they might come loose, let alone fall out! This crazy tight seal is also why it can have such great bass which is something I’ve noticed none of my other headphones have been able to do. The case is elegant and much smaller than I thought it would be from the pics. All my sound from my theater, cars, and personal audio must be top notch which is why I’ve gone through so many of these hyped up brands in the past. Bottom line, if you’re looking for sound you’re going to LOVE and you get frustrated from ear buds slowly coming loose as you move around or excercise, these are the headphones for you and they 100% worth the price.

First off these look beyond stylish, and clean, are not bulky in any way and feel great in the ears. Battery life is better than advertised so far, I know with time it will degrade... Sound Quality is unreal, I’m used to wired headphones or premium over-the-ear sets and these hold up better than any wireless set, especially ear buds in specific. The clarity is unreal and the lows and bass cannot be matched by anything else I’ve come across. Calls are perfect as well, no background noise on my end. The charging case and pouch are perfect. Love these, don’t think about any other pair unless they are for working out, but even then these hold up against all competitors.

As with any new device, they require to be broken in. Now I don’t mean that as “Hey go slam these down on the ground as hard as you can”. They have excellent sound and are the best pair of headphones I’ve ever owned. I never had issues with connectivity, music playback, or even the battery. My issue lies within the wingtips. In order for them to fit properly you do need to have the wing tips, however, since I’ve owned them for about 9 months, the wing tips got used to being in my ears. Due to them being used to being in my ears they wanted to pop off the headphones themselves which can be quite annoying when you feel the headphone pushing itself off while leaving the wingtip in place. If you get these headphones you will be surprised by the quality, just don’t plan on listening to them every day like I have. Other than that they’re awesome headphones and worth the money.

Great Audio quality in a really portable package!

I've only got around 20 hours on these so far, but wow, what great audio quality from wireless buds! I have a number of higher-than-average headphones (HD700, HE500, PM3, QC35, M50x, etc) but I've been "living" with my Apple AirPods for the portability. The sounds quality was mediocre and I'm often listening in restaurants and cafes and would prefer more isolation than they provide. So, in steps the MW07... I grabbed them from BestBuy as soon as they were available for order. I know that the $300 selling price may seem high to some, but if you can generally hear a difference in audio quality, these are the way to go. I've been using the Audeze PM-3 and Bose QC35 for my portable listening and have been very happy with them. I would rank these MW07 right along side the Bose but really appreciate the fact that I can have them in my pocket all the time. Now, how about some cons? 1. I am somewhat prone to sibilance at louder levels (I HAD to tame the HD700, for example). I find that with the stock ear tips I can't listen above 1/2 using the stock music app (iPhone 6s+) for very long without fatigue. I changed out the tips for comply tips which helped a lot but didn't totally solve the problem. So, when I want to listen to something loud, I use the audio player, "Equalizer" with a -3dB drop at 6000Hz (Q of .8). This totally solves the problem for me. 2. I think the greatest weakness of the MW07 is the battery life. Yes, the case can charge them several times, but I'm only getting around 3hrs of listening before I'm forced to take a break to recharge. I'm enjoying them so much that I just want to keep listening. 3. The travel case is a finger-print magnet. I assumed that going in. 4. There have been a couple of times that I paused the music and lost the left ear when it resumed. I've put them back in the case for a sec and then they're fine. Otherwise, the bluetooth connection seems to be stable. 5. Call quality is ok. Not great, not bad, just ok. For the asking price, I think these are a tremendous purchase if you value great audio quality AND portability. The highest praise I can give is that if they were lost, I'd buy another pair. No question about it.

First of all I’ve listened to a lot of true wireless earbuds and these by far are the best in sound and in comfort and look great! Sound and comfort are most important and battery life of course is too. Now you get 3.5 hrs and that’s about right according to how loud you have them. But I guarantee you won’t be disappointed! My favorite feature is that you have physical buttons to control volume and activate voice commands to Siri and google.

This are by far the best pair of headphones I have purchased to this day. Battery life is a bit of a down side but overalls quality is great. The casing of the headphones themselves is wuite fantastic as well as the charging case. The charging case is a bit on the bulky side but the stainless steel finish is worth it. The many different tips and wings are a great addition to make it the most comfortable experience for the user.

I would recommend this to a friend
