These headphones are great. They have good sound, looks good, and they are light. I would give them a 5 star if the Noise Cancelling was as good as the sony or bose. Also, my ears begin to hurt after I wear them for more than an hour and they're very expensive.

Bass separation is the best I've heard and I tried to distort them but pushing levels too high but they just will not. They make terrible signals sound good. Simply better than any bluetooth headphones on the market. I've heard better but they were corded and over $1500

Fantastic Headphones. One of the best wireless headphones out there including SONY and BOSE. I had the HiFi-Man Deva's, 1st and returned them. They are huge and kept sliding off of my head. They were also nosier because of their open backed design. Other than that they sounded great. Not comfortable.
These M&D are great especially when you turn off the noise cancelling feature. You don't need it if you are serious about just listening to your music. Most wireless headphone have the noise cancel feature, which make the headphones sound artificial. These make my recordings come alive. I've have had quite a lot of wireless headphones, but these sound more like wired headphones. Pricey, but wait for a sale. They are worth it.

Couldn’t decide between these and the new Sennheiser Momentum 3. Sennheiser won. The sound is equally as good but the big differences are: The MW65s top volume is too low. And I don’t need massive volume. But it caps off way too low. And the MW65s don’t have transparency/conversation mode. That’s tough when you’re traveling and want to hear announcements.

Sound great if you like balanced sound. Returned them as they lacked bass and have no equalizer-and they are too expensive to not have added that in.

I expected more, i only gave it two stars because they qre crafted well amd look amd feel very classy, but the noise cancelation is awful and makes zero difference on the level the sound is okay but not better than the cheapest pair of skull candy, amd they are completely unusable for phone calls, no one can hear you and i am told i soind very far away, the star is for comfort amd design, but i will stick with bose, which isnt without its flaws, i have even tried dre beats amd those unfortunately are awful as well amd not a fan of the sony, these would be okay for 100 bucks max but there are many better options, hard passed was returned

Great sound, great style, they are by far the best sounding headphones, however, didn't rate them 5 stars just because their noise cancelling is not as good as others I've had.

These headphones have a great rating for good reason...they sound astounding when compared to other headphones on the market...you'll hear things in music that you've never heard or noticed before...the only drawback is the sound quality on phone calls...the other end says you sound like you're a thousand miles away...

Crisp near perfect sound for a non audiophile headphone. Active noise cancelation dos almost nothing but the headphones naturally block out alot of outside noise.

The Master & Dynamic MW65 Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones set is a top tier headphone for audiophiles. They excel in the categories of sound quality, comfort, noise-cancelling, and design. This applies to music, gaming, movies, and more. I have another pair of noise-cancelling headphones from a top brand, and I like these better. The sound quality is amazing. I mainly have used these with music, and whether it is hard rock, classical, or pop, the drivers deliver great bass, mid-range, and treble. It truly sounds like you are standing next to the performer. Comfort is an important category for me. Other headphones tend to become uncomfortable quite quickly for me. The MW65 feels light on my head, and remained comfortable over the course of several hours. I did not experience any ear discomfort from either the pressure of the cups or from the noise-cancelling. The noise-cancelling on the MW65 worked very well, and comes with the ability to change the noise-cancelling to either Low or High. This is an excellent feature that allows the wearer to choose a low level for work environments where you may still want to hear some noise, or a high level for an airplane. I have experienced better noise cancelling with other brands, but it came with the sacrifice of audio volume and quality. The MW65 has balanced noise-cancelling with no impact on audio volume or quality, that I could tell anyway. And as I mentioned, I experienced no ear issues with the noise-cancelling as is sometimes reported with other brands. The design is very nice. My unit was the black leather/gunmetal combo, and they look sharp. They only weigh about 8 ounces, yet they feel very sturdy. There are no cheap materials here. The only minor quibble I had with the MW65 was that when taking phone calls, the folks on the line would say that my voice sounded very distant. Frankly, I wouldn't use a unit like this anyway for heavy call volume. It is more of a side-feature for this unit, and there are other headsets/ear buds that do a better job with frequent calling. The battery charge lasts about 25 hours, and recharges in about 30 minutes. This is really a top of the line headset that excels in almost every category that you could use to judge a headset. With the MW65, you getting the quality that matches the price and there isn't much competition. I would recommend this unit for all users, and especially users that appreciate fantastic audio.

The MW65 has excellent build quality, are lightweight, fit good and are very comfortable to wear. The lambskin pads are very soft and I’ll probably never wear them out but it’s nice to know that they are replaceable. All of the movable parts operate smoothly and have a high-quality feel to them.
Bluetooth pairing to several devices was quick, easy, and worked well. I connected to my Surface Go, iPhone XR, and my LG television. Tested the range with my Surface and it was quite good. With the Surface in the middle on the table I was able to walk around my kitchen and even out onto the deck without any noticeable signal loss or sound distortion. Overall sound quality to my untrained ears is very good.
The controls are well laid out and easy to us, however, until I got used to the placement, I found myself reaching for them on the outer housing and fumbling around until my fingers found them on the smaller inner circle part of the housing. Not a bad placement just had to get used to the location.
I haven’t had an opportunity yet to evaluate the noise cancelling feature in any noisy environments but I can say when turned on it doesn’t noticeably affect the sound quality as I have noticed with other noise cancelling headphones. Also, could not tell much sound quality difference between playing using Bluetooth or with the 3.5 audio cable. One thing that I did notice though is if you turn on when the cable is plugged in the audio quality suffers quite a bit which means if you are plugged in the sound may not be as good if you want to use the noise cancelling.
I like how when you turn on you will get a visual (color) indicator of the battery level. Not sure what the thresholds are but when I was at 80% it was already showing Med (orange). When I unboxed the battery was at Med so I plugged in and within a very short time it was fully charged (green). After a couple of hours of use they are still at 60%. Have not ran though many charge cycles yet so I can’t report how well it holds up over time.
Being an Apple user, I’ve never tried the Google Assistant. I did install it on my iPhone to see how it works though. It actually works quite well and while I don’t expect to use the voice command capability being able to have your notifications dictated to you through the headphones is a really nice feature. Also, via the assistant is the only way that you can see any detailed device status information such as battery level percent.
In the box is included a 3.5mm audio cable, USB-C cable with a USB-B adapter. I was glad to see the type C connector for charging the headset rather than the Micro USB connector that many others use as it is much easier to connect. For my purposes they could have done without the flight adapter as I am pretty sure that I will never use it.

I'm hearing things I never noticed in my music. I hear fingers sliding down guitar strings, overtones and harmonics I never noticed before, fullness in strings I never noticed, reverb I've never heard... These have great separation and present an amazing soundstage. Most of my headphones and earbuds have a hollow midrange, do well at the high end and overcompensate on the low end trying to get some bass thump in there. These earphones have a great balance across the sound spectrum. There is a rich fullness and great detail in all ranges compared to any others I have heard.
These headphones are gorgeous. They seem well built and sturdy. They do not squeeze my head too hard like so many do. They actually completely cover my ears unlike so many others. The earpads are soft and have yet to make me sweaty. They come with a nice pouch with a pocket that holds the charging cable, charging adapter, mini-plug cable and airline adapter.
These headphones sound great on either of the active noise cancellation settings. I couldn't tell the difference in sound quality with the headphones set to either of the noise cancelling settings to the off setting. The other noise cancelling headphones I have owned have had a marked difference in sound with the noise cancelling on. I haven't been on a plane yet (which is where I normally want noise cancelling) but I tested it in a noisy restaurant and a western dancehall/steak house. These effectively cancel the background noise and deliver great sound.
These headphones have a great range. I can walk around my home through several rooms without losing the connection. Most of the walls around my den are solid brick and these have a better range than any of my others.
My one complaint is that with the volume all the way up I wish there was a bit more. I won't blame these headphones for that because all of the Bluetooth headphones I have tried are the same way. I suspect everyone is worried about damaging our hearing by providing loud sounds. None of my headphones/earbuds have been as loud as I wanted them to be with my Samsung phones or various branded laptops. If I plug the mini-stereo plug I get enough volume. I'll give a disclaimer here that I've been listening to music, perhaps too loud, since the 60's. At any rate, I'm going to blame Bluetooth standards, phone company/computer company fear of damaging hearing, some international standards or my old ears for the volume being less than I like, not the headphones.
I've never used Google Assistant other than just to see if it worked on a new phone or computer but I have had fun asking it (her?) questions since having these headphones. I think I might get used to using the voice commands.
I'm tickled to death with these headphones. The best sounding I've ever had.
