I think Zhang Jin (Max Zhang) could carry on the IP Man franchise. I thoroughly enjoyed Master Z. Not to replace Ip Man of course but I think he has the skill set to carry on in terms of not replacing Ip Man but as complementing and continuing the Ip Man legacy. I don't think Donny Yen is actually replaceable in this franchise as we've seen in those endeavors where other actors have tried. They were lesser efforts. Donny Yen IS Ip Man! We'll always have that last fight between Chueng Tin-chi and Ip Man. We know who the real master is but Zhang could lead the franchise going forward. Zhang's skill set is second only to Ip Man's.

Awesome action film with martial arts worthy of its place in the celebrated IP MAN universe. Following his defeat by Master Ip, tries to make a life with his young son in Hong Kong, waiting tables at a bar that caters to expats. But it's not long before the mix of foreigners, money, and triad leaders draw him once again to the fight.

I seen and have all Yip Man movies by different Martial Artist. Yet Master Z excellent and adrenaline from beginning to end. Great story line and fighting chapters are remarkable. Can't wait for sequel to come out!!! Wattttaaaaaa!!!! Rodriguez J.

While this is not about Ip Man, it definitely has a similar vibe and the fight scenes are just awesome! Michelle Yeoh is great at showing how skillful she is and her presence adds to the film - it's always a treat to watch her.

Loved this movie. Liked the association between the #2 best martial artist of Wing Chun. The hard decisions a man had to make to stay good to his virtues was excellent. I can't wait until IpMan 4 is released.

This is a very good movie. Every main character performed well and the story line is fast moving and action packed. The konfu fighting parts are excellent. This is a movie worth watching over and over again.

If you enjoy the Ip Man films with Donnie Yen, then this film is for you. It continues the story of Ip Man and is a must watch. The action is incredible. I also like that Tony Jaa is in it.

Good movie good action and story, we need more up to date Kung fu movies, 40 years ago their was a Chinese just as good as Bruce Lee , l only saw him in one movie, he was better than all the other Bruce Lee look a likes .

These are my favorite characters. I just finished watching also with Sylvester Stallone and the Dave Baststa and Zheng it was good. Would recommend this movie.

This is great and fun movie that still keeps the Ip Man storyline. The movie also looks and sounds great and I recommend it for the action set pieces.

If your are a fan of martial arts then this a must own great action crazy fights. It's for the collection.

Story could have used some work, choreo was pretty good. Just needed alittle something to make it really good. Would recommend though still better then most we been getting since the 90's.

Love any good story about Ip Man. It’s amazing how one man can develop a martial are into something deadly and yet so beautiful in movement.

Master Z is a great martial artists movie. Fight scenes are really great and a good plot. Pretty good spin off from Ipman.

Even if you don't succeed in challenging a master of the martial arts, doesn't mean that you can't succeed elsewhere.

I like the martial arts genre. I am seeing more and more being produced in the East and am seeing new talent.
