    I have to wait to see what happens.The second disc was blank.

  • Not as good as Liam Neeson's

    This started out good but in the end it was not as good as the Not as good as Liam Neeson's version. It was too gross out in many sequences so as not to want to see it again.

    This is a very well done adaptation of the book. I particularly liked David Oyelowo's portrayal of Javert, it was brilliant. As always, there were a few liberties taken, so it isn't a perfect representation of the book, and it does abridge some of the story. I gave this to my wife as a gift and she loved it.

    I've seen many adaptations of Victor Hugo's classic novel, and the BBC miniseries captures every facet of the work best. Any project penned by Andrew Davies is certain to succeed. Dominic West and David Oyelowo's portrayals of Jean Valjean and Javert respectively deserve every award possible. Highly recommended!
