    I purchased this after watching the series on PBS. This series is based on Harry Selfridge, an actual person. Although it has taken liberties with some of the details, the show does seem to rely on his character and true events. It is amusing, keeps my interest, and the acting and characters are very good.

    I loved Season One and now season Two is above and beyond- Personal stories about Employees- plus the Beginning of Retail perfection- This man was a Genius and Mr Priven does it sooo well!!!! Can't say enough good things about this series- Buy it you won't regret it!!!

    This is a wonderful series. We got into it after Downtown Abbey finished for the season and we like it just as much as DA. Can't wait to see what's next on the series.

    Is excellent in the lead role of this series. A must see for historical drama fans.
