    Prime Suspect: Tennison does a wonderful job detailing the beginnings of Jane Tennison. The case at the heart of the story plays out in very satifying fashion, keeping you interested as new details emerge and shows how Helen Mirren's Tennison came to be..

    This a prequel to the Helen Mirren series. Good to see the back story of how it all got started. Good acting, and very interesting story. Can't wait to see where it goes next season.

  • ONLY FOR FANS OF GRITTY CRIME SERIAL SHOWS

    This British crime cop show will appeal to fans of Cinemax "Quarry" or HBO "Boardwalk Empire" or HBO "True Detective" fans, but closer to "Quarry" in mood and "True Detective" in style. Don't be fooled by "PBS" logo, because show has swear words, naked corpse, vomit, and blood. Good mystery story, but show had only one story that had multiple subplots. High price for 6 episodes, but "Quarry" fans paid high price for low number of episodes. Beautiful lead actress highlights all-white cast. Recommended for gritty crime show fans ONLY that don't mind low number of episodes.
