It kind of reminds me of something in the Bates Motel family of series. It has a lot to offer if you like cat and mouse horror!

This was a really good movie, my wife and I liked it. My favorite was John De Santis, who plays the giant killer. (You may remember him from 13 Ghosts, he played The Giant.) This film was directed by Don Coscarelli (Phantasm), and even has a cameo by Angus Scrimm (the Tall Man from Phantasm.) This was a good slasher film, but the plot's a little weird and it ends rather abruptly. Other than that, it was pretty good. I definitely recommend it! Also, some other good ones from the Masters of Horror series are Valerie on the Stairs, Cigarette Burns, Pelts, Haeckel's Tale, and The Fair Haired Child.

The story is a good one except I wasnt a big fan of the side story. Effects are great. It was a good way too start off the series though. Enjoy
