Sounds like it fell a bit short of an earful

Don't get me wrong, the concept of this episode was very promising, but it fell a little short and moved a bit too slow for a hour one timeframe. The ending didn't really leave me satisfied because honestly, it seemed rushed. Not one of the stronger ones this season although the acting was decent. I found myself even forgetting this episode existed until I heard it was coming out on DVD.
Recommended for completists of the series, but then again, why not wait until the box sets come out similar to those that just came out for season 1? It'll be cheaper and take up less room.
