Kinda like a Complicated Crazy Eights

There are cards which specify actions your opponents must take, usually bad for the opponent, to give you an advantage theoretically. But you only get those by the luck of the draw, so it does not really change the underlying need for a modest amount of strategy. The high dependence on chance vs. strategy makes it a good game for young players and the colors are bright, etc. But for all that, I think a regular deck of cards and Crazy Eights is very similar and just about as much fun. Luckily it is not very expensive so if you just want some variety, go for it.
