After reading reviews on many of the kettle's I decided on this one. The main feature that made my decision is that this is an all stainless unit (only small plastic area for showing max fill capacity). I didn't want to be boiling water in a plastic unit, which is what I originally purchased and returned for that reason. The second reason for purchasing this was it's cordless. The base has the cord attached but you can pick the kettle up and pour with nothing in your way. I cleaned the unit as directed when I first opened it. It boils water very quickly and is simple and easy to use. I use this to make iced tea and have to boil two kettle's worth of water. This kettle takes me less time than boiling water in a pan on the stove. My husband was even impressed on how simple and easy it was to use and how quickly it boiled the water. I've only had this for a little over a month but so far very happy with my decision on this purchase.

First time I buy an electric kettle. Loved it. Heats up faster ...turns off itself. Much more convenient

We have always used electric kettles. This one works well and has a nice style for our kitchen.
