VERY UNHAPPY WITH MAYTAG FOR STICKING A METAL 10 YR WARRANTY ON MY BRAND NEW APPLIANCES - WILL BE MAKING FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH MAYTAG - NOT THE FAULT OF BEST BUY

It's a very nice fridge for it's size. I would have given it more stars if it had more room for condiments.

I owned a prior model and this has some improvements such as smaller ice cubes so they do not get stuck coming through door dispenser.

Looks good but seems slightly smaller than last dodge of same size

Julio and his delivery partner were great! Had to use an alternate route into the kitchen and I started to stress but Julio said we will take of everything (moving some chairs and things around) and they did!

It continuously makes a popping sound I thought it was just for the first 24 hours while it was cooling but it's been 1 month and still making noise

I have owned this fridge for just over a year. Within the last few months I have started to have some problems, which of course are not covered by warranty. Crisper drawers are not built well. They often fall out and if closed in a hurry they get jammed. Ice maker recently started to freeze and jam. In order to fix the entire unit needs to be removed and all the ice needs to thaw. I have called Maytag about the issue and the only option is to pay for a technician to come out. This might not be so bad if the fridge was a bit older, but 14 months is still brand new in my opinion. The ice maker also takes up a lot of space and very few items can be stored underneath. When filling up a glass or bottle with ice, the ice is constantly falling on the floor. There is not stopper to ensure that the ice makes it in the glass. The fridge is supposed to alert you when it needs a new water filter. The light came on about 9 months after I purchased the fridge. When I investigated further I realized that Maytag recommends the filter be replaced every 6 months. When I called Customer Service told me the filter should actually be replaced every 3 months. These costs add up and are something to consider if looking to purchase this machine. Fridge looks nice but I am sure there are better quality items that will not break so quickly.

I purchased this Maytag because the Samsung would not fit my kitchen area. After having it for three months the deli drawer broke. Its made very flimsy (only two adults users) and not cover under warranty. The water dispenser leaks. The ice dispenser doesn't stop releasing ice when you remove your glass. The extended warranty coverage under Pacific Sales is very poor. They had my refrigerator listed as $139. Who buys a new refrigerator for $139! I have been trying to get my refrigerator repaired for 3 1/2 weeks. I've made appointments and service tech never show. I would not recommend Maytag or Pacific Sales.

We have just bought the house and the fridge is less the 2 years old. The previous owners never hooked up the ice maker. We want it and did everything possible and water is pouring out of the unit in the fridge. Please help us!!

Love this refrigerator. It has tons of room. The wide deli drawer is perfect for us since we always have a lot of fresh veg. The drawers pull out easily, and the cover on the deli drawer raise up when you pull out the drawer - and the space is huge in there! The freezer is roomy, and I doubt I'll ever fill it up. This is our first fridge with ice and water dispensers, and they work beautifully. The guys who delivered it were efficient and very nice.

Our refrigerator just broke down after 7 years. Way too short in my opinion! Ridiculous that an $1,800 refrigerator wouldn't last longer.

The fridge itself is nice enough, but just a little over 1 year after purchase, the ice maker broke. Then 5 months later, the seal on the door opened up and the magnetic strip inside slid out. I didn't buy an extended warranty, so I have to pay for any repairs. And those repairs would only be guaranteed 90 days. So basically, it falls apart right after the extended warranty is up and you can continue to pay and pay to repair it. Choose a different model, not Maytag or Whirlpool as they are poorly made and the company does not back up their work.

After 8 months the ice chute started flapping, the panel started blinking and the door was making strange noises. Then after 15 minutes the fridge died. This happened on a Saturday. There is no service over the weekend so all of our food that couldn't be transferred to a cooler was lost. We are told service is booked out for 2 weeks, and then replacement parts will have to be ordered. So we will be without a fridge for over 2 weeks. After EIGHT MONTHS of owning this piece of garbage for which I paid over $2,000. I have never had this problem with GE, SubZero or other quality brands. Do NOT buy a Maytag.
