Overall a nice fridge and we were happy to find out that the side is grey and not black like the website made it seem it would be. We had very limited options due to our built-in cabinets and the listed measurements of the fridge were correct. It’s very spacious inside and it looks nice. It wasn’t too hard to flip the doors after it was delivered. The only negatives we’ve experienced are that it’s louder than our last fridge, the top corners of the door are really sharp so we had to put stick-on plastic bumpers on the corners, and it has terrific suction and requires a really hard tug to open it sometimes.

This is a beautifully designed refrigerator. The amount of room for storing food is beyond expectation. The shelf width cold cut bin doesn't interfere with the shelf space below, and that's a huge plus. The freezer space will hold an abundant of food which will save money in the long run. The temperature controls after 24 hours cooled and froze hard the contents inside. After three days of owning this refrigerator, I can say I made a good choice, but four stars is what I'm willing to give at this time.

Something cosmetic is not easy to be noticed at the beginning. 1. Freezer door and fridge door are not aligned completely 2. Some scratches 3. One interior plastic part is deformed

On the plus side it looks neat and does its job well. Very quiet and has even temperature in both sections and good lighting. Nice large deli drawer. On the down side the lower drawers are small and the door compartments in fridge are tight. The largest one holds just a juice box and half gal milk and the others hold only small items. Also because of full width deli drawer can't stand up wine bottles on lower shelf. However it was one of the few refrigerators that fit into the space allowed by our 50s kitchen without jutting out, had a freezer light and the price was reasonable. We had a problem immediately and Best Buy was not helpful until I dug in my heels. Fridge door grinds when opening. Freezer door is fine. Believe hinge was damaged - possibly a delivery issue. Wanted me to deal with manufacturer. BB are now replacing fridge. Beware their extended 3 yr warranty - it's only 2 years as it starts from delivery, although Maytag gives you I yr coverage with your purchase.

I looked around and figured Best Buy would have something for me. After reading reviews on BB and other sites, I was getting frustrated in my search as there were many negative reviews on current refrigerators. Longtime brands that were once great are now not so good apparently. I had a good feeling about Maytag though and this fridge seemed right for me. So far, one month in, it is great. I put it on factory recommended settings and it cools and freezes wonderfully. Plenty of space for all this big man's food and drink. I tried the PowerCold feature and it worked great giving extra chill and quick freeze for ice cube trays for a 24 hour cycle before going back to original setting. Middle shelf adjusts; raise it for gallon jug storage or if you want more height gap then take mid shelf out and put aside. Fridge door has plenty of shelf space and good for half gallon jugs in widest spot. Simple and awesome thus far. No worries.

Not too impressed with this refrigerator. It is cheaply made, almost no extras. It’s pretty noisy. There is no handles just some notches in the door. The interior peace’s don’t fit very securely. There isn’t even a way to level the thing with out taking the wheels off. I’ve seen better built refrigerators with names I can’t pronounce. I would be in embarrassed to put my name on this thing. Only reason why I gave it 3 out of five stars cause it was only one of two top freezer refrigerators with a light in the freezer. My 30 year old Amana has more bells then this Maytag.

Simple yet functional design. Matches our washer and dryer being this is our laundry room fridge. Plenty of room inside for k8ds drinks and snacks. Large freezer that serves as an overflow for main kitchen fridge n freezer

After the the first refrigerator I bought was delivered, I noticed that the freezer door did not close properly and i did not like the door shelving. I exchanged it for the Maytag and so far I am pleased with it. It has a great deli drawer that goes across the entire refrigerator and you can see everything in it. I was able to arrange the shelves so I can have my gallon of milk on the top shelf not in the door (It is not recommended that it be in the door). The crisper drawers have wheels and close very easily. Also it is a quiet running appliance (I did have to read about the soft dripping sound when it is automatically defrosting and saw that this is normal. Because of a narrow kitchen, I wanted one without handles and this works well in my kitchen.

When delivered, there was a stain on the freezer door. The motor is louder that I thought. Sounds like it is making ice, when there is no ice maker in it. Maytag guy says this is normal. They are ordering a new door. Other than that I like the inside. Lot's of room

We needed a new refrigerator in a hurry due to failure of our previous unit and this was the only readily available model that fitted in our kitchen space.. Only a basic model without a water dispenser, with an optional icemaker, but it does have a lot of storage capacity and is working great. Excellent value.

Like the inside has good size space. Main thing don't particularly like is the double handles on both sides of the doors.

Just what we needed for an extra basement refrigerator. With four people in the house, we needed more room than what the kitchen fridge could supply. It has the option to add an ice maker but we didn't need it. Very quiet.

Space in my kitchen is quite small, so I chose a Maytag to replace the old Maytag, knowing it should fit. New one is ok, but it's a bit deeper so sticks out into the kitchen maybe a couple inches past the replaced refrigerator. The top freezer is quite abit larger which is good. I can more easily see what's there without moving packages around. The shelves in the main part had to be rearranged. I had hoped the delivery fellows would help me with that. But I figured out most of it. it does

Fridge was the right size and configuration for our second unit in the garage. Size was right, glass shelves as I wanted and useful size drawers and storage spaces.

Very happy with Maytag refridgerater. Very quite and specious. The freezer is roomy and bright.

I live in an older home and the space in the kitchen can only accommodate a refrigerator of a certain size. I searched and looked at several brands and models. This was one of the only ones with glass shelves. Most others had wire shelves which IMO look dated. I've had it for a week and Im pleased so far.

now that we are empty nesters, downsizing, this fridge is perfect. mid size and efficient use of space. medium for loudness when running.downside no ice bucket if you don't get ice maker.

Everything was good on the delivery and set-up. I am however quite dissappointed that the refrigerator makes so much noise, as it was advertised as on of the quieter ones in the reviews that I read. I looked at ans went to the stores to listen to the models that I was interested in buying to see how noisy they were. TYhe Maytag that we chose was reviewed as being one of the quieter in the price range but It iss louder than than an insignia and whirlpool that i listened to in the stores. Anyway. good except for the noise aspects.

My Maytag 18.1 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator is performing excellent to date. It's almost 1 month being used. My ice trays froze in less than 6 hours. My fresh food and fluids are cold. The unit is quiet. The seals are tight. This unit replaced my 22 year old GE. If there is opportunity, I will review after a year. It's great!

Large, well designed spaces. The only issue is the temp control in the fridge. Not enough settings. I find things in the back freeze at recommended settings.
