very easy to use, just check the temperature setting and press start, It adjusts the water level to the load size. Not as quiet as I expected, but quieter than the washer it replaced.

I was very surprised at how well this works and how much stuff I can fit in one wash. It also does a spin dry cycle that helps seniors dry the clothes so I'm not having to use my dryer as long and helps a lot with stuff that you need to hang dry.

I love that it's a top load but functions like a front load. Cleans well, uses less water. Doesn't seem to be too noisy to me as some reviews had claimed. I have recommended this to friends.

This spindle-less, top-loader, was favorably rated in multiple review/test sites that I always look for when buying. After it arrived, I was unsettled at the amount of water it used to wash. I thought it was broke since it used so little. I did more research and found many customers felt unsure of it after purchasing it as I did. There were even UTube videos on it. The bottom line is this water-saving, washing machine did a great job. My clothes came out clean. Whites too. I still am baffled by how little water it uses but it does the job. I use the extra rinse cycle just to make me feel better. I have even paused the cycle, added my own water, then restarted it. With or without doing this, the closes come out great. The high ratings I read about from my initial research were well founded. This is a great machine, no doubt about it. Trust the results, not your eyes in this case.

At first was not use to a washing machine not having an agitator, but once you get use to that and learn to put the soap on the bottom of the machine it cleans real well. Another thing important to note is that the lid locks so you can not add additional clothes unless you pause the machine.

Favorite feature: No tall agitator in the middle for my clothes to get tangled around! Also love that the machine uses exactly the right amount of water. My laundry comes out clean every time. There are ample settings to tailor the wash to the load. I will never go back to an "old-fashioned" style washer again!!!

I don’t know how to begin to rate this washer. Water is dispensed based on the weight of the load. Not what I expected. The clothes do seem to come out clean but definitely don’t understand the concept of having such a large drum if it the amount of water it dispenses never gets past the top of the clothes. The level of water is only enough to saturate the clothes. I find myself having to open the lid a several times so the sensor can ignite and dispense more water.

Our laundry room is on the smaller side and this unit fits our space the best. It is a nice washer with many different washing options. However, it is a bit noisy.

This was purchased to replace the Whirlpool Cabrio model. The improvement is well worth the minimal price difference by a long shot..Love the glass lid because I've always wondered whats going on in there. Much quieter than the obnoxiously noisy Cabrio and seems to do it's job well. Highly recommend!

Much better than the Samsung that was recalled but a bit noisy. I like having knobs and just a few settings, again relative to the Samsung, and the bottom only agitator works well.

We have had the washer for a few weeks now and it seems to be working well. The capacity it great for our large family and it is easy enough for the kids to use as well.

I have to admit, the impeller takes a little but to get used to. I still wonder some of the times if EVERYTHING is getting wet. My son and I watched an entire cycle though and saw the clothes gently rotating so things on the top rotated to the bottom, etc. I love how much you can get in a load! Great for large families.

I like that there is no big agitator. The last washer I had took too much room for that. I also like that the machine decides how much water to use. I hope to save in water usage.

After reviewing several different washers I decided on this Maytag washer and I am very happy. It has an extra large capacity and does a great job in getting clothes clean with a low amount of water. It does make more noise than a front loader, but since mine is in the basement I have no problem with the noise.

I purchased this top loader washer for mother's day in May. It worked great until November, about 6 months later, when my mother called me and told me the washer had stopped working - water was just sitting in the drum and would not turn on at all. Thank God I had put a 5-yr insurance plan! called Geek Squad and in matter of a couple of days they came to my mother's house and fixed it. I am not feeling very confident in the Maytag brand, but at least I know I can count out Geek Squad to fix any future problems with this washer, at least for the next 4 years. I would recommend it, but only with some sort of insurance plan.

My clothes come out clean and fresh. This machine does a great job of spinning out the excess water. The soap dispensers are easy to remove if you need to rinse them out. It is a great product.

Bought this to replace a 2 year old washer that was a giant mistake. My clothes come out clean now, even large bedding loads. Should have went with this brand from the beginning. Bonus is you can open the door at anytime except the spin cycle to add or remove something.

We have always liked and trusted Maytag. We didn't want a front load machine but we also felt many of the top load machines were so deep that I wouldn't be able to reach the bottom easily. This was the only one that wasn't so deep. I also liked right off the bat the clear top. This does a good job of washing and spinning. It has basic controls that are easy to use. I gave it 4 stars because it tends to become off balance very often and makes a lot of noise even when level and the load is positioned properly. It's a good machine at a reasonable price. Quality parts in this machine. Overall I am happy.

This replaces an 18 year old 'agitator' washer which I liked. This is not so deep as to not be able to reach inside and get the last items out yet it holds a lot more than my old agitator model. Also, it spins dry better and requires less dryer time or 'line' time.

A while back I had the Maytag Neptune duo and I loved them. I moved recently and decided to upgrade them and I’m happy I did. This washer is top loading and uses very little water. It washes great but it’s noisier than the Neptune. Overall I’m very happy with it.
