Machine is affordable and does the job. I gave a 4 bc it doesn't have all the bells and whistles. (clear top, time indicator, soap dispenser) Not sure if missed items can be loaded after it starts. Dose add extra water, but how much?

Does an excellent job. Simple to use no bells and whistles. My only complaint is that it is a little loud, but most of the washers these days make more noise. We just close the door to the laundry area and it's fine.

Great washer. The quality is great and there is tons of room to wash a bunch of clothes at once. Other people have stated that it is a lab machine, but we do not think so.

Love the size of the tub. Hate the lid lock feature. Can't tell if its filling, cant add anything after it starts.

A bit noisy for us. Lid is OK although you will find a lot of complaints that it is flimsy.

High capicity washer, many cycles to choose from. What can I say, its a Maytag!

Garbage at its best! Modern robbery!!! 4 years have passed and washer wouldn't fill. I called my local repair man and he said it was the mother board. I swapped 4 mother boards and it didn't fix my issue. Stay away from anything having a sensor/sensing system.

Machine was much lighter and easier to move, Has more capacity than the old machine too is quieter and smoother. It was a little hard to learn how to start it only thing I’m worried about is a plastic transmission. Old machine lasted 30 years

Unfortunately the product required a service call repair in 28 days after install. I’m not happy with this product from the manufacturer. Technician repaired bad connections on pump and door lock switch!

Haven’t bought a new washer for 20 years so this took some learning. The Maytag does wash clothes and spin them dry very well. I would recommend this to others.

It washes clothes great but it is LOUD and has no end of cycle alert.

It's a Maytag. Good quality, does exactly what it's supposed to do in a decent manner. BUT, this washer is the LOUDEST washer we've ever owned, be forewarned. If you're looking for a quiet washer, this isn't the one for you.

Great design but not a fan of the smart washers, also not a true Maytag since the merger but I will give it almost 3 stars for performance, it is easy to use so there is that. The dryer is great but the washer is a little disappointing.

It works really good and it does not use a lot of water..my clothes comed out clean

Plenty of room, only thing I dislike is that the lid locks which is a hassle to fix a load that becomes unbalanced.
