This is our 4th washer in 14 years, and so we are hoping Maytag will be the right choice! Love large tub and after reviews went with agitator.

We have really enjoyed our Maytag 5.2 cu ft 11 cycle top loading washer. It is huge enough to wash comforters, etc. with no problem. For dark clothes, I always select an extra rinse, so there's no link on my good slacks. Warning to short people, you will have to stand on a step-stool to reach the bottom of the tub. The spin cycle gets SO much more water out of our clothes that things dry faster in our matching dryer. Saves electricity.

This washer is great! It holds an exceptional amount of clothing and washes it well and quickly. I would definitely recommended this washer!

Was excited to go from a front load machine that did not clean well to the Matag top loader with agitator and option deep tub fill. Though it cleans better than my front-loader- it is extremely noisy. It turns water off and on causing a loud jolt to the water pipes. This goes on for a long time and gets annoying and I worry about the jolt to the pipes when this happens so often. Reading up on this- it seems this is all in the wash process and not a problem with my machine. I am disappointed in this wash process and do worry about pipe damage.

This washing machine holds bedding with ease, is quiet, makes clothes fresh and clean and is energy & water efficient. Love it!

We have always liked the top load washers, I like the capacity and my wifey wanted the agitater. Best Buy was great to deal with.

I love that is has the agitator. Not all washers have it now. It is also a great size, love that I was more clothes now (in less loads).

I was very skeptical about the new “he” washers, with very low water and different agitation than my old Maytag. I have been very happy with the cleaning ability , and large tub gives clothes plenty of room to agitate. Washes great, handles my king down comforter/ duvet with ease.

I bought the washing machine to wash my bed comforters and big sheets. I have used it a few times and am very happy with the results.

We pick this weather because of the size and the agitator in the middle. The agitator helps cleans the clothes better than one without it

After many years with old fashioned tall agitators I tried a front load washer. When it broke down after just a few years I went back to a top load washer. But the new ones have a short agitator. I believe they are called propellers. I HATED it. So I am once again happy with this machine because it has a tall agitator. I feel it gets the clothes moved around more and that means clothes will be cleaner. I highly recommend this washer. I did recommend it to a friend and she bought one too.

Very large capacity, quiet, many options for choosing best cycle for whatever you are washing. And best of all this product is energy efficient and qualifies for a $400 rebate

Very quiet! Has agitator so clothes come out clean. High capacity for big loads and has extra water option.

I bought a Samsung washer 2 or 3 years ago it was ok until the door rubber starter the get a lot of mold even if my wife was trying to keep it clean it just came back again and again it even start to smell bad so we have to get a different brand bought this Maytag and until now it works super fine lets see how long will last this one

I wanted a extra large washer that gave the option to use more water. The power wash cycle cleans the clothing thorough.

Washer is fine. I am used to front loaders and choose this for the top loader with large capacity. Too deep though, I am 5'9" and must stand on my tiptoes to reach down into the washer to retrieve the washed clothes at the bottom.

Washer is very good. Very attractive. Too early to determine durability. Terrible mistake on dryer. Wrong model. Took two weeks to correct. Poor communication from management.

I replaced my awful front loader with this machine. Was so frustrated with clothes not getting completely clean, wanted a machine with an agitator and higher water levels, this one had both.

We wanted an agitator and large capacity and this one fit the bill. Rated high by Consumer Reports. Lots of options but quickly learned what worked for us. Very quiet. Clothes come out clean.

These new machines are no match for the old ones. I live on a farm and have to put every load on bedding, deep fill, deep clean, extra rinse for anything to get clean. Takes almost 2 hours a load. IT'S RIDICULOUS! My old machine on regular load, took 35 minutes and clothes were clean. They need to go back to the basics and build washers that clean the clothes. Nevermind all these useless settings. If I didn't need the big tub I'd buy an old second hand washer and throw this in the yard as an ornament!!
