This dryer has a large capacity. It's larger that what I really needed. It does a great job of drying a large load of towels. With the larger capacity clothes do not get as wrinkled as with other dryers I've owned. The design of the door makes it easier to get clothes in and out of dryer. This dryer would be perfect for a large family.

I got this dryer in November 2009. I wanted to use it for a while before writing a review. This dryer is huge, I don't think I could fill it up. The energy saver settings take some getting use to but are handy now. The timed dry is for high heat only, but I typically am using the energy saver options anyway. Over all I have had no problem with this dryer.

I needed a simple, inexpensive dryer but wanted a quality product. I got that with this Maytag dryer. The capacity is very large and can easily handle bulkier items. I like that it only has three options for settings.

I wanted simplicity, reliability and quick drying -- nothing fancy or overpriced, because after all, this is just a box that warms up clothes :) I replaced an old Kenmore which was very reliable for 17 years, but was starting to take forever to get loads dry -- it had done its job, not worth a service call to keep it on life support So far, after several weeks, this one seems to be pretty solid and does dry very quickly -- most loads done in a half hour or less, so don't need to wait around before starting up the washer for the next load I do like the light -- the only thing that's hard for me to get used to is the door opening horizontally, but that seems to be the norm now -- my old one was vertical, and the open door would catch loose socks et al which always drop -- so now just need to keep the floor a bit cleaner :)

Bought the dryer and the washer. Love them both. Have them located in my basement and I have no trouble hearing the dryer buzzer when it goes off. Clothes come out wrinkle free, which means no ironing and who would not love that! As far as noise goes, the stackable washer/dryer combo I was using before made more noise than these. Noise should be expected from any machine!

Maytag makes a great appliance. This dryer is great for a family who has lots of laundry to do several times a week. The cloths get dry before the time is up, thats what i really love about the dryer. Sometimes you have to spend a little more to get the results you want. My husband and I are very pleased with the choice we made.

I haven't had to run a second cycle yet! Everything from blankets to towels to pillows are dried to perfection in the first run. Dryer is barely noticeable when running, but buzzer at the cycle end is loud enough I can hear it anywhere in the house. I love the light in the dryer so I can see if I grabbed everything.

I bought this Maytag Dryer along with the matching Centennial washer for my parents last Christmas. They had a 28+ year old Maytag Washer/Dryer and I just felt like it was time for a change (even though they were still in A+ condition and working!). The dryer is big and we love the light. It dries 5x faster than their old dryer which sometimes took 1-2 hours. I love the lint trap on top of the machine... although it makes it a bit easier to forget about since you don't see the lint. The "all done" buzzer is extremely loud, so sometimes that gets turned off, but all in all a great purchase!!! Would highly recommend!!!

I have had the expensive dryers with all the bells and whistles. They took forever to dry my clothes. This dryer does a great job and does it quickly! I have faith that it will last a long time.

This product does a better job than our previous model. It dries cloths in less time than before and does not leave burn and scortch marks on the clothes.

I had no problems. Apparently all dryers require you to purchases the plug seperately.

It's easy to use and does what it's supposed to do. The 7.0 capacity is large enough to accommodate Queen or King sized bed sheets or comforters. I usually dry on the energy saver setting and I find that I don't have to keep putting the clothes back in for a touch-up.

The handle on the dryer is very difficult to grip, it seems better fitted for a left handed person. I have to readjust both hands to open it.

It has a light inside. It is big inside. and I like the signal when done.

I am really enjoying the new dryer and all the features available on it. It works great.

Wow! All I did was bring it home and hook it up and voila! THIS DRYER IS REAL!!

This dryer is ok. It is huge, which I love, but it doesn't dry clothes. I usually have to use the timed dry instead of the automatic, and even then I have to add an extra 20 minutes at the end to get the clothes dry. I added little dryer balls, and that seems to help too. Also, the lint trap is on top of the machine, which I hate because then lint gets all over the machine and anything on top of it. I got this very cheap, and have had the servicemen out to check it out several times. I even changed the vent to try to help it, but they all say there is nothing wrong with it. Other than the fact that it doesn't dry clothes...

I have only had this dryer for a month. It's user friendly and a great buy.

This is a great washer and dryer at a reasonable price.

For a new dryer I would have thought that you could dry a load of laundry in one cycle
