Excellent dryer and pairs well with the washer we purchased. It looks great and is very quite. Drys the clothes quickly and efficiently. Like the different cycles and wrinkle guard that keeps running the machine at intervals to keep clothes from wrinkling. Very easy to use.

Dries completely first time, every time so far. I like that modifications to presets are stored; for example the ‘normal’ setting usually uses a high heat but I changed it to medium and now whenever I use that setting medium heat is remembered. I can’t comment on reliability as I’ve only had it a month, which is why I held off on 5 stars, but I did a lot of reading about various manufacturers before buying and Maytag still has a great reputation.

I love this dryer! It is quiet, easy to use, and has lots of options. I love that the door opens towards the front, and it is an attractive design. It seems a whole lot more modern than the dryer it was replacing!

This Maytag dryer is a companion to our new top loading Maytag washing machine. We replaced the 15 year old dryer with this electric dryer. Wow - what a difference! very efficient. Dries loads quickly. And we really like the way the dried clothing comes out.

This dryer is great. We biught the washer few yrs ago. Maytag. Needed a dryer right before Christmas it was going. Bought at right time. Maytag is worth the $$. As usual bought the Best Buy warranty. They stand by there product. Had delivered an crew set it up. Very Professional. Clothes come out loose an dry. Very large,deep drum.

Actually went to the store to look at a different dryer and this was the one offered as a package discount. Went home and did my research on this one and returned to purchase the pair.

I bought this dryer to match the Maytag washer I purchased last year when my old washer gave out. I figured my dryer would also go out eventually, as it was part of a set, but it lasted over a year more. This new dryer is efficient and does its job well. The things I dislike about it are pretty minor and I can work around them. I feel that the door doesn't close as easily as it should (it's the bottom hinge model). You can't close the door on the dryer in one push unless you slam it. It has a stop on it for some reason at about 2/3 closed that means you have to give it another push to close it all the way. It also doesn't have a "solid" door close; it's kind of "tinny". I also dislike the fact that to turn on the dryer, I have to first hold down the power button for some time. You can't just push the button, you have to hold your finger on it. Same goes for starting the cycle--you have to hold the button for 3 seconds (it helpfully counts down for you) before it will turn on. This is a waste of time to me; first I have to hold down a button to turn it on, then another to make it start. Just let me set the cycle to what I want and push a button to start it all. Overall, it does a great job drying my clothes and is easy to use. I do wish it had a setting for air/tumble dry. There may be a way to do that by creating a custom setting, but I don't want to have to deal with that, which requires downloading their app and setting up what you want, I guess, and doing it remotely? I like to line dry my clothes in the warmer seasons but also put them in the dryer on tumble (no heat) for a bit so they're not stiff. I do NOT want to have to do that through an app. The preset options for drying are a bit confusing, as there is a Normal setting as well as a Regular setting. I haven't investigated the difference but that seems redundant. However, it's not a big deal and either one works fine for normal drying, which is the majority of my dryer loads. Overall, the dryer is efficient, fast, and easy to use. I wish they didn't try so hard to be cool by giving us the ability to control it remotely and use an app to do so. I mean, you have to physically put the clothes in the dryer, so why would you need to start it from your phone? Anyway, it's a nice large dryer that works well and is somewhat overpriced, but what else is new.

I like this washing machine, however, it was definitely a learning curve getting used to the perfect dry cycle for a large load. The normal settings don’t dry a huge load well. I was having to run the cycle again. However, once I found the perfect settings, it’s been working great ever since I love the way the door opens.

Very easy to use, a lot less complicated than other machines. Fit perfectly in our laundry room. The delivery men advise of how the machine works was very helpful and they were very polite.

replaced a Samsung that had stopped drying properly. the maytag matches the washer already purchased. this fryer does a great job on the first attempt. very rare to have to run a second cycle to fully dry a load. did not need/want the steam option so ordered the unit without steam.

This dryer is just as great as the washer. It tells you how long the load dry time will be (dependent on the settings). It dries great. We haven't had a load that didn't dry properly. The wrinkle free option is nice as well. It holds a lot of clothes. It has an extra strength button that I love.
