I originally bought this dryer because I grew up with A Maytag washer and dryer, the set lasted 20+ years So I knew Maytag was a reliable brand but as soon as they delivered it, the dryer stopped working within the day Which I thought was so weird so I called Best Buy and they exchanged it with no problems. This process ended up happening around four or five times and I couldn’t figure out why the dryers would stop working. I ended up finding out that my lint filter Out through my roof was clogged and the dryer had a safety feature to shut off Which is a great feature to have. I wanted to write the review to let everyone know that since I had the lint filter cleaned out I haven’t had any problems whatsoever the dryer dries our clothes fast and the drum is really big since we are a family of six I love the size of the dryer. But number one I wanted to say that Best Buy has the greatest customer service I have ever experienced. They never gave me any problems they were kind, polite and they know how to treat their customers..... I will be a forever customer with Best Buy. Thank you so much!

Easy to use, very large dryer. Can handle the largest loads. No problems so far. Even catches coins in the lint basket.

This is the 2nd Maytag dryer I've owned. My prior dryer lasted 13 years, but my Maytag washer lasted 22 years, which is unheard of by today's standards. I hope this dryer lasts longer than 13 years. It has a large capacity, which is the main thing I like. Although it has 10 settings, the only two I use are Heavy Duty and Timed (and I only use Timed when I want to add on additional time at the end). All other settings take at least an additional 30 minutes to dry a load. For perspective, my old dryer would dry an average-sized load in 45-60 minutes. This new Maytag takes about 60 minutes, but only on the Heavy Duty setting. All other settings take at least 90 minutes to dry a regular-size load. Maybe the other settings are super energy efficient, but I don't want to spend forever doing laundry. The Power Dry setting actually seems to put in hot air for short amounts of time and then just tumbles with no additional hot air in between, which may save energy but takes 50% longer to dry. My new Maytag washer is another story. It takes at least twice as long to wash a regular-sized load vs. my old Maytag, but that's another review I need to write. I hear from others that there are only a couple manufacturers of washers and dryers anymore as they've all been bought out (including Maytag), and most brands are all the same because of the energy-saving features. I feel like we've gone backwards in technology. Maybe in Europe that's acceptable, but people in the U.S. want to get things done quicker so they have more time to do the things they enjoy...and for me, that does NOT include doubling my laundry time!!

This dryer comes with many options to dry clothes and runs very quiet while doing so. It has a sleek silver control area and is huge inside. One thing to be aware of: this dryer is deeper than it looks. Be sure to measure its depth before purchasing.

Great performance. Pretty easy to operate once you read all the instructions and get used to all the options.

HUGE capacity. Quiet. Easy presets, which can all be modified with the touch of a button. If you want to get your laundry done quickly and well - this is the machine for you. Love it.

Have owned Maytag for over 20 years. So when I needed a new one Maytag was all I was interested in. This dryer has not been a disappointment. The capacity is amazing. I no longer have to take my quilts and blankets to the laundromat. I can dry them and everything else at home.

Purchased an overside Maytag dryer. Beautiful to look at and very easy to operate. This dryer replaced a 4-year old LG Dryer that I was unable to find a licensed repair person to work on it in VA Beach. Called the LG Customer Service Center and they provided me with 4 companies that do NOT service my area. Anyway, back to BestBuy. Service was fabulous. The guys were professional, neat and eager to please. No nicks, no scuffing of the walls and door frames, they were quite good and know their business. Also appreciated the hands-on operational guidelines. Highly recommend and I'm very pleased with my purchase!

Our old dryer gave out so we searched for a larger new dryer. This is a very good dryer for our family. This dryer is very large which we like but it does not have steam We knew this and just want to mention as some reviews complained of wrinkled clothes. We are very satisfied thus far and would give 5 stars but have not had the dryer long enough.

This has a nice large capacity so its easy to wash even king size bedding including quilts and comforters. I've been amazed at the lint filter. I've never had a dryer catch this much lint. It works very well and quickly. This is the third maytag dryer I've bought. Each time I've moved to a new house I've selected the maytag usually for the capacity and they've all been very reliable. I like this one better because it dries faster and has more options that I actually use.

This is an all-around well-made 10-cycle electric dryer. Maytag has once again showed how amazing their products can be. I really enjoy the minimalistic design they went with. The one knob really makes things simple. The ability to adjust the volume in the haptics is also a small perk with this dryer. The only annoyance that I have from the machine is how loud the door snaps to open and close. I think they could have improved on that. Overall, I am pretty happy with the purchase. (2020)

Been using this dryer now for 2 weeks and it works great. Clothes come out hot if that's what you want or their are other settings. It's high capacity, it holds a lot and dries them too. Very happy with this dryer, at $599, a good bang for the buck.

Happy with dryer. It is big and deep. I would like if door opened 180 but oh well. Quit when running. Good drying options. Easy to navigate.

After many a Samsung high dollar laundry appliance, I was determined to find a dryer that wouldn't roll up clothes, would sense correctly and keep me in a good frame of mind about laundry activities. This dryer did it. It's big enough to pass as a small apartment, but fits perfectly in the laundry room. Laundry dries the first time, in less time, without damp or overheated items. It is simple to use, it doesn't have a ton of features that I never used on a $1300 appliance, and I have NO complaints. Really. None.
