This dryer is huge. Be sure you measure your doorways...mine almost didn’t fit. Works great. It cuts down on loads because of capacity. The matching washer is also excellent.

This dryer has a ton of space and works very well. I just wish there was a way to stop the dryer from restarting as an alert to let you know that your clothes are finished

We bought this deep dryer by Maytag because our other dryer got ruined. The other one was a average size dryer and we had never used a large capacity one like this before. What s difference a day makes!! This dryer does twice the work at least of every other dryer we have ever had before. My time doing laundry has been cut in half and everything comes out perfectly! We see now why everyone loves a Maytag and the Best Buy service team made it all so easy for us -- I just pointed to where to put it -- they got my other one out, set this one up and BAM I could do laundry to perfection! Lots and lots of laundry all at once!

I love this dryer it’s the best dryer out there, and has all the bells and whistle’s, and it’s sturdy And attractive. It dries my comforter which is king-size quickly. It does everything I expected to do. Close and open the dryer door and noticed the quality of this unit.Easy to use, just make sure you remove the paper after the install had dents on the top that were not showing to me till they left and I remove the papers. That they left on top of the dryer

The best dryer I have ever purchased. Works Well especially for large bedding and large towels. First dryer I didn’t have to restart my bedding.

Had a Samsung dryer previous to this. Replaced the thermostat multiple times and the heating coil once. Final time I replaced the thermostat it died 2 loads of laundry after replacing so I started dryer shopping. Not only does this dryer get the clothes dry the first time. It also has a HUGE capacity. I have no complaints except it doesn’t do a good job of drying a small load of clothes unless you set it to time dry 40min or more. I think since it has so large a capacity that a small amount of clothes causes the sensor thinks the clothes are dry before they actually are.

This dryer has all the bells and whistles you will ever need! So many features to chose from- denim, bedding, heavy duty or delicate to name a few. Different temperatures from air only to high. Extra cool features like check vent, good air flow and my favorite - check lint screen (in case you forget) My absolute favorite thing about this Maytag 8.8 dryer is the SIZE!!!!!! It's HUGE inside! I can actually dry a full load of laundry instead of drying half a load at a time. I've only own this for a short time , however, I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Unlike the washer companion, this dryer seems pretty good. Dries fast and it’s pretty quiet. We can’t even hear it in the garage at night time when all is quiet elsewhere in the house.

We have been mostly pleased with this dryer, it is a nice large capacity and has plenty of settings and a light inside, which a lot of dryers don't seem to have anymore. The one quirk it has is that the touch-pad is not very responsive when you turn it on. You have to touch the start button in just the right place with just the right amount of pressure, and your finger cannot be too hot or too cold. It is very strange. I almost sent it back for this, because it seemed almost impossible to turn it on. Once it was turned on, it was fine. We figured out the secret to the touch pad and decided to keep it for now since it would be a hassle to send it back and get another one. We bought the extended warranty, so I think it will be OK.

Title self explanatory. We needed a large capacity dryer that was good quality but didn't necessarily need every single gadget and device imaginable. We like Maytag products to begin with as they tend to fit that nice middle ground on appliances. This dryer was no exception. It has enough features that assist you in reminding when it's time for cleaning the filters or maintenance, as well as plenty of drying options. All these combined with its size make it worth it in my opinion.

My maytag washer and dryer are very large and able to wash and dry alot of clothes at one time. They are very quiet! I have to double check to make sure I turned them on!

The Maytag dryer is absolutely wonderful. The drum is huge and can accommodate a lot of clothes. It is very quiet. I would definitely recommend this dryer to anyone.

Read lots of reviews before purchasing. Positive and negative. I have nothing negative to say about this dryer. It's larger than previous, but not that huge. Love all the dryer cycles, all easy to use. I wasn't sure about the lint catcher, but an excellent concept. Helps to keep lint enclosed for easy removable and trap is located inside door not on top of dryer, which is a big no for me.Would buy this dryer again! Very quiet and like the see through door with light inside. I have not found items to slide off top of dryer either.

Very large capacity dryer. It works well. Start button is a little sensitive. I would recommend, tried two other dryer brands and returned, before we bought the Maytag. Glad we did.

This thing dries fast and won't leave you disappointed. I don't like to over-dry my clothes because I'm so tall, I have a hard time finding things that I like to wear that actually fit. So, I am typically going to set it to timed dry, and I'll take my jeans and sweaters and nice tops out after about 20 minutes of drying on this setting, to where they're barely damp, and hang them to air dry in my closet. This dryer works fast, it's hot without overdoing it, and super efficient. It's like a computer. I love the notifications and sounds, too!

This unit can handle a large load and is easy to use. Lots of options for various types of laundry. No complaints so far!

I own th washer so when my dryer went out after 15yrs .. (which by the way I loved my old dryer ) I read the reviews and of course the sale on dryer I knew it was meant to be.. drys clothes super fast /quick dry. Set it for how long you want it dry and it is done. So saves time and energy. And I have always been a fan of the audio sound when done . Do not like to leaves clothes in dryer after completion. . Bones feature: even tells you to check lint holder /to be cleaned out .
