Great deal!!! We looked at front load washers. The price was crazy and so not in our budget. We wanted a washer big enough to was a bedspread and energy efficient. This washer was our dream and in our price range.

It was difficult to take the leap of faith to the HE model initially. After completing a few loads, I was convinced that the right choice was made. It is a no brainer to use. Pick the cycle and it does the rest. It is teenager and husband friendly. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to give technology a chance to prove itself.

Our basement doorway with the jambs removed was only 26" wide so I was limited on which washers to purchase. Was hoping to get a front loader but none had dimensions which would fit so I settled for a top loader. Maytag is a respected name and this washer has a ten year warranty. I was very happy with this model because it has no agitator to wear my clothes out like my previous washer. Since this was a floor model, Best Buy gave me an approximate $56 discount so the washer was quite affordable.

So far I would have to rate this as ok. The reason I say this is I have only had it for a month so it's hard to give an accurate rating. This is what I have learned so far. When washing sheets do not put but 1 set in the machine. It doesn't clean correctly. Because I can't open the lid I can't tell if the machine is powerful or not. This leaves me guessing as to if my clothes are really getting clean enough. The other day was the first time I found myself second guessing the machine's ability. I put a twin quilt and twin sheets in the machine and the sheets didn't get clean. The machine tucks the sheets under the quilt and makes a tent like structure. This kept the sheets from getting clean. It's not because I put too much in either. There was plenty of room for all of the items. This only happens when you wash sheets. Everything else clings to the side of the final spin. I like the idea of a top load high efficiency machine however I now think I probably should have spent more for a front load.

I love my new washer. Quit, many setting and energy savings!!! Love that it has so many functions. I have even washed all of my comforters. The only thing that I am not pleased with is that if there is a stain in clothing, even pretreating it, they do not come out. THis is usually in white clothing. I use the bleach cycle and the stains are still in. Not to happy with this.

This washer is the best value for top loading... I paid 460 with free delivery... huge tub, very efficient, saves time drying. I would buy it again._

The programmable features are nice, unless you need to run a cycle that isn't one of the options (a hot rinse-and-spin cycle - it only comes in cold). High speed spin helps reduce dryer time, and it's a quiet machine. I haven't yet figured out how to turn off the "End Cycle" buzzer.

HAVING TO BUY A NEW MACHINE AFTER 22 YEARS WAS A TRIP. BEING USED TO THE OLD AGITATOR TYPE I WAS RELUCTANT. A FRIEND TOLD ME NOT TO BUY THE KIND SHE HAD WHICH WAS A CABRIO. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT. IT CLEANS CLOTHES VERY WELL AND SPIN DRIES THE CLOTHES SO WELL THAT MY 18 YEAR OLD DRYER DRIES THE CLOTHES FASTER. I AM VERY SATISFIED

Takes a period of adjustment to u/stand and use HE washer. Clothes are coming out as clean as old unit it replaced. No issues at all, just take the time to read the owners manual as well as try different settings for your particular needs. These HE units are VERY un-like the older units so initally paying attention to the manual and experimenting a little bit on your own pays BIG dividends.

My husband and I bought the set and have had it for about a month or so now. We usually do 3-5 loads a week including his dirty work clothes. I love this machine. I have used all the cycles a few times and havnt had any problems with it at all. I would recommend using the extra rinse if you use a lot of soap just to be on the safe side but we have never seen any residue.

Washer does a great job cleaning our clothes. Spin cycle leaves the clothes much dryer than my old washer.

I read the other reviews and was looking for a HE washer. This machine does not have all of the features offered on the higher end, but it has everything one needs for laundry. So far it has worked extremely well and I can get as many items in as my old giant sized Maytag. Extremely quiet operation. Read the directions and use the correct detergent.

Overall great washer for the low price. Only complaint is that if you fill it more than 1/2 way, the clothes are extremely damp after the cycle is finished.

Again, electrical problems ensued on the first month I bought the item. Since then, it has been running good. The technicians did a good job...though it took two of them to get the items back into good operational status.

With the time that we have had the washer we have not had any issues with it. Only bad thing was there no mention you had to have a special washing detergent

Only complaint is it is a little noisy. It seems like when it is spinning, it is spinning too hard. Otherwise the machine works great. Cloths come out very clean and it is very easy to use.

Got this machine after my old one broke down. Was skepitcal at first when I would hear all the weird sounds but now I look forward to listening to the machine go through its cycles as I know it has been doing a good job for me.

So far I've been very happy with my choice. Yes, it takes longer than my old washer, but I only do a few loads a week & half the time forget I've put a load in until the next day anyway, so it's not an issue for me.

washer is still not running after 2 weeks. washer delivery people forgot to bring the correct parts to hook up the washer which we were promised.. several calls and hours later and days later best buy called at 8:00 pm on a monday night and said they would be there the next day .... ben over 2 weeks and they have not shown up yet... this is the first problem i have ever had with best buy...there service is usually A++++ this time they flunked........big time i guess they do not care about their customers any more...

don't use gel detergent-left marks on black clothing; not as quiet as my old washer; seems to take longer to wash
