I have had my dishwasher for about 2 months, and I love it. It is quiet compared to my dinosaur I used to have (one from 1978). It cleans very well No food particles left on any dishes and no gross food to empty out of the filter it has a disposer built in . I love the top adjustable rack and large inside. I didn't want to spend the money if it wasn't going to work properly and without many reviews I was nervous. I purchased the Maytag Neptune washing machine and dryer about 5 years ago (no problems with them at all) and I love them so much I thought I would stick with that brand. The sales person assured me that I was making a great purchase. He was right. Good Luck I hope this helps you.

This is the best dishwasher!! It is so quiet that you don't even realize that it is on!! It cleans the dishes well and it's so QUIET!!!

I was disappointed when I received my dishwasher. I was hoping that it was the 54db that it claimed to be on Maytag's website. Let me tell you, it is not quiet. I was hoping it would be so quiet you could hardly tell it was running, boy was I wrong. Don't get me wrong, it isn't as loud as most dishwashers, but it is still "loud" to me. The door on the dishwasher doesn't seem to open smoothly. I wish I had purchased a different dishwasher.

This is my second Maytag and hade the same luck with this one. This will be may last.
