Looks great with my new washer and dryer set! The height it adds is perfect to prevent bending over so much while doing laundry! The storage inside is also very generous to hold anything supplies you have for laundry or washer and dryer maintenance. I highly recommend this pedestal and for anyone that has a front load set to put them on pedestals! Have it professionally installed it’s very difficult to lift washer on pedestal and to balance the machine.

Pedestal looks good but does not fit the washer. It does not close properly.

Ordered 2, the drawer on one will not close flush. I called Maytag for assistance and they were not helpful saying I could return to the store for an exchange. Not so easy once front load washer / dryer is on top of.

My wife is 5'8" and I am 6'3". Bending over to get to the front of the washer or dryer kills my back after a short while. Two of this device elevate the washer and dryer about 14 inches, making access to their contents easier. They also can be used for storage of laundry packets/bottles/dryer sheets/small animals - just kidding about the animals. Way too expensive IMHO, but definitely worth having if you are average or above average height. They don't seem particularly sturdy, but a prior pair I had for my prior W&D seemed just as unsturdy but lasted many years. Comes in matching colors.

I would never buy a front-load washer without a pedestal. I keep my laundry supplies in it. Most of all, however, it puts the door at the right level to use with my laundry cart. If I didn't have the cart, I would put a table in front & just under both machines' doors. I pull out of one machine and wheel it over to the other to load up. This is so super easy on my back!!

The pedestals are fantastic and essential, in my opinion. They are roomy and make the front loaders high enough that you don't have to bend down each time you transfer from the washer to the dryer. They store lots of items, so we can keep them off of the tops of the machines -- looks nicer. That said, however, we had difficulty with the installations. The gas dryer installers (certified in gas) came without the pedestal. The washing machine truck came with both pedestals, but they couldn't install it because they said the gas dryer has to be turned on its side, so we had to schedule another appointment for the gas man to return. When he did, he said all that had to be done was lift it up and then attach it when lying on the floor. After all of that, it made a loud clicking sound when closing it because it was sagging in the middle (manufacturing defect) and kept hitting the bottom lip of the dryer. We finally had a third person come and identify the problem. And then a fourth time to have the new pedestal installed. Whew. Now it's fine and we're happy.

There is a suggestion of buying a pedestal for new Whirlpool Duet washer and dryer. I agree with someone's smart suggestion -- it is true, spending a little bit more, you will feel much better -- you don't have to bend down to get clothing from washer to dryer. You can use the drawer to store hangers, detergents ... Especially, when there is a promotion: buy one pedestal, get the second free, then why not? It makes sure the pedestal fits well to the washer / dryer at the delivery time and free installation. I'm satisfied with the products. Best Buy offers matching price, promotion, good products, good customer service, thank you.

We recently bought these new pedestals to go with our new washer and dryer. we also had pedestals on our old washer and dryer. These pedestals are back savers while doing wash. They are awesome they glide very easy with plenty of storage space. They added a sleek silver handle in front to match the washer and dryer. Great product and value.

We never would have realized what a difference this would make in the ease of use. Wow! extra storage for supplies, raises the machine up to a great workable height and so well built. We don't know why we waited so long.

I bought two pedestals and they are fantastic. My wife loves them as she no longer need to lean over to get all of our Laundry out. We both enjoy the drawers to put all of are soaps and other items to be able to have at fingertips use.

We bought Maytag Washer and Dryer with the Pedestal and are extremely happy with the ease of using these machines that one doesn't have to physically struggle with bending over during repeated during its operation, especially as we are getting older. We bought a new Whirlpool washer and dryer when we moved into our new home several months back. As there was a lot of things to get at that time, we skipped spending extra for the pedestals. When we saw the pricing on these around Black Friday, we decided to add them and what a great decision. We have front-loaders and the additional height is really great, not to mention, all the storage space the drawers add. They really cleaned up the laundry room. In hind-sight, we would have got these from day one, they are incredibly convenient!
