Anti-Virus protection for your computer is so vital these days. Installation and set up was easy. The anti-virus software automatically gives you the option to scan external devices (SD cards, USB devices, etc.) for viruses as soon as they are connected to your computing device. The software automatically gives you updates on your virus protection status, warns you against using devices or websites that may be harmful to your computing device, etc. If you find these pop up messages annoying, you can simply close the pop up message and it goes away quickly. Try to purchase this product on a promotional or holiday sale to save yourself some money, as I believe the 1 year subscription does not start until you activate the product.

I been using McAfee for years.

I just buy the basic one. Virus only. I don't own a tablet or a laptop yet. Don't even own a phone. Gave up my track phone. Have ordered hearing aids hope this helps me hear better. Then buy a real phone. I would recommend McAfee.

Posted .Thank you for the nice review! You get the same level of protection from all of our software - so it you only have a desktop, no need to buy anything more than the basic. When you do get a phone, you should consider moving to a 3 or 5 device version so you can protect that as well so you are protected no matter how you connect to the internet. Mcafee checks for viruses and harmful downloads consistently. Really gives the feeling of protection while surfing the web and downloading things for a fair price
