Heart warming inspirational story. Highly recommend.

Money worthy.Very good movie. Give five stars!!!!!

My children and I can't have enough of this movie!

McFarland, USA means well. Several scenes are actually quite moving, with Costner's young co-stars providing emotional heft to a script that lacks emotional depth. It's only in its execution that the all too conventional sports drama suffers. Disney's Blu-ray release, meanwhile, offers an excellent video presentation and solid DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround track. It's light on supplements, which is a real shame, but so it goes. I'd recommend renting before buying, but if you're a sucker for inspirational family friendly sports films, you could certainly do a lot worse than Niki Caro's McFarland, USA.

Very good movie that was the unjustly over looked at the theaters. Best Buy has it on Blu Ray for $6

My family and I (4 children, ages 4-11 and wife) went to watch McFarland USA twice in the theater because it is that good (and is based on a true story). We couldn't wait for it to be released in June 2015!! The film is motivational and shows family, dedication, loyalty, and faith in a great way. The movie is clean and great for families. What a performance by all those in the movie. We bought the Blue Ray version from Best Buy and look forward to watching it over and over again with friends and family. This movie inspires people. Get some running shoes and go for a run!

Great movie for my pre-teen. Has a great story line and is appropriate for teens

McFarland USA was an excellent movie to watch with the family. I have found there are very few movies that are appropriate for families to watch that can incorporate all ages without being a cartoon. McFarland USA was perfect for my family that ranges in ages from 14 to 47. Every member of the family thought it was worth the time to watch and it was a great way to spend our "family night". Make sure to make popcorn and add a little bit of melted carmel squares to make it special!

Great sports movie without the baseball or football tropes

This is a quality telling of the classic underdog story. It appropriately addresses racial stereotypes through the changes of Coach White's family as they are embraced by the McFarland community. At the end it gives an update on the real-life runners portrayed in the movie. As a teacher this movie is inspiring, as a mother it is heartwarming, and as an American it is eye opening.

Enjoyable Disney sports fare. About what you'd expect.

this is a feel good movie. so much is said about our Mexican neighbors. but these guys were born and raised here .challenges for a family just out of a upper class neighborhood learning that family is so important to others. kevin Costner is excellent in this movie along with Mario bello. kind of white culture into Mexican. they kids were cool. friendship with people they would not have meet if there father had not made 1 mistake.

If you are looking for a great movie, look no further! This movie will have you cheering, clapping and crying tears of joy. This is by far one of the best Kevin Costner movies and I have always been a fan of his. It is based on the true story of the McFarland, California Cross Country Team. When the movie is over you have more respect for hard working families and coaches who inspire their kids to become better people by never giving up.

AAAAAAHHHHH what a delite this film is! Kevin Costner has been one of my fave actors for years now and his latest venture is a true delight! Not only is this a TRUE STORY, its told with so much heart that you CANT HELP but fall in love with it! I was so happy with the ending I cried! This is a film about the human spirit and what you can accomplish with the right motivation. If you need a "PICK ME UP" night - this is the film for you! A+

I first viewed this movie when it made its debut on the big screen and could not wait to own a copy of it. This story depicts the lives of seven Hispanic high school students and their Anglo track coach in a migrant, agricultural town. From a future without hope to one with endless possibilities, McFarland, USA is filled with passion, pain, and inspiration for generations to come!!

This is a fantastic movie based on the true story of a high school cross country running team from McFarland, California. A very different movie that depicts a different type of sport compared to other sports films. Nonetheless, the movie is well acted and the story is well done. This is definitely a must buy movie.

I could watch this every week and never tire of it. This was Academy Award worthy for the movie, Costner's acting, and screenplay. It is so good on many levels. Disney is the best when it comes to Sports films that reveal the goodness of people across many barriers.
