this is a very motivational movie, my daughters wife and I watched this movie three times at the theatre and now is one of the most important in our movie collection. The movie shows in someway the immigrant reality and how they give a lot to this country, and the best of all.... IT'S A TRUE STORY!!!!

I am not a Kevin Costner fan, but he and the film’s supporting cast were outstanding. My teens were drawn in from the start, and continued watching through the credits. This is now one of our favorites.

"McFarland US" is a great movie telling the story of two cultures who discover common decency and great value in each other through the real-life account of a teacher and his family. This is a great movie for everyone!

What a great movie. Saw it on cable and loved it so I had to add it to my collection. Got it at Best Buy for a good price. Powerful message with great acting. The entire family will enjoy it.

Every cliche from every sports movie is included in this flick, but I thoroughly enjoyed every single cliche because this is the best non-cartoon Disney movie in decades. I highly recommend Kevin Costner's performance as the reluctant coach...he excels! It's a great flick.

10 Stars!!! This is the best lll-around Family movie that we have seen in several years. There were so many dimensions: Humor, Reality, Courage... All Around Feel Good Flick. Just sent a copy to my Parents and recommended it to all our Kids & Grandkids. A must see!

This is one of those feel good movies. You pretty much expect the outcome but truly enjoy how it came about. This is a true story and very inspiring. Good acting, Kevin Costner is great as usual. Don't miss the special features about where all the students are now.

My wife and I saw this movie in the theater and absolutely loved it and have recommended it to several of our friends. It teaches team spirit, honor, personal growth and other wonderful family values. All of the characters do an excellent job with their acting.

True stories are always something worth watching. Lets us know that good things can happen with determination and commitment to your goal and especially to each other. Another win for Disney and Kevin.

A nice, understated performance by Costner. The youngsters portraying the "pickers" of McFarland also do a nice job. A feel-good film based on a true story as coach "Blanco" grows along with his high school cross country team.

I had never heard of this story before, so the commercials piqued my interest. I wasn't sure if I'd like it but usually the underdog team fighting for a place sort of stories tend to be pretty great from Disney. I wasn't disappointed! What an amazing story.

this movie is great for whatever age group you have. everybody will enjoy it and get something out of it. kevin Costner was fantastic as usual. this is the kind of movie you can see over and over.

I know that Disney is known for changing certain details and order of events, but I still really enjoy movies like this. I loved that the majority of the cast was unknown and that they actually used a few of the residents of McFarland in the movie.

Another great Kevin Costner sports movie. Along the lines of Field of Dreams, an inspirational story and a nice break from the heavy end of world dramas. Even captured the attention of our toddler during the running scenes. Definitely worth owning.

Found the movie to be true to the subject from racing to seeing the hills made from almond husk. The actors were inspirational. Based on a true story of PE teacher, his dedication. I could even feel the heat from the Valley. A must watch for kids.

This story coming from one of the poorest towns in California, shows that anything is possible, even though it looks like its impossible, but through perseverance and dedication by Coach Jim White, opened the doors of opportunity for his students.

I can't recommend this movie enough! The fact that it all ends up being true and the wonderful "what happened to the characters" synopsis makes this worth the watch everytome. Great testament of character overcoming stereotypes in this country...

I put off buying this movie because it was never on sale and then I never saw it in stores. Happened upon it in the bargain bin! Very inspirational movie! Love Kevin Costner in it!

The fact that it is based on real-life events makes the movie that more impressive. Great scenes of cross country running. Actors portraying the runners were very believable. I loved the historical wrap up at the end of the movie.

I so loved this movie in the theater. It was a truly inspirational running movie--much better than Chariots of Fire because it is an American story. Since I am a runner, it was ( and will be) my go to movie to watch before I run a race.
