    My only problem is it seems very unstable. Leg fasteners don't hold well. Collapses easily which is not a good thing. But it's great for a 10yr old boy just starting out.

    I have wanted to get my 9 year old son interested in astronomy for a few years, and this telescope was a perfect starter telescope. It is great for viewing the moon, but other planets may be challenging with the manual tripod and guide rod.

    Poor instructions in manual. Figure it out yourself. Very small field of view. Wouldn't buy this again, even for a child.
