The most dangerous hitman in the world, Arthur Bishop thought he had put his murderous past behind him when his most formidable foe kidnaps the love of his life. Now he is forced to travel the globe to complete three impossible assassinations, and do what he does best, make them look like accidents.

An ok Action Movie with Tommy Lee Jones,Jason Statham and Jessica Alba.Some good Bang Bang scenes but mostly formula.

Nice plot: Kill people while making it look like an accident. Same as the first movie. It is interesting how Statham does this and what makes these films so interesting. It is worth seeing if you have some time to watch. The second movie is better than the first because he has to rescue his girlfriend (Jessica Alba) by making these (accidents) happen. I would definitely recommend it to anyone to looking for an action movie that fits the category of straightforward plot and lots of fighting scenes.

Jason Statham is a fun action and adventure actor. The stories he engages with range from dark (e.g. Wild Card) to fancy-free (e.g. Expendables); this movie is solidly in between the two extremes. It is action-packed without being over the top and the character is credible. Better than the first Mechanic, better than the Transporter franchise. But, do check out Jean Reno in his rendition of The Mechanic.

You can never go wrong with Jason Statham - no matter what movie he's in, he adds both character and that over the shoulder attitude that you wish your best friend had. The plot may be a bit contrived and predictable, but doesn't detract from the ride and how he figures out how to accomplish what he has to do - well, you'll just shake your head. And, if you enjoy heights, don't miss the pool scene.

What can you say. It's a typical Jason Statham action movie that if you like his action packed film and by the end of the movie he comes out alive and saved the good guys and killed the bad guys again, to me is a wonderful movie. No drama scenes here but just typical fights all the way and killed all his opponents and a few minor injuries for Jason but not fatal to live to fight another day again.

This is way better than the first film. Jason Statham delivers and entertains with his unique fighting style, ready to kill sadistic look, and no-nonsense attitude. A lot of awesome fight scenes from beginning to end that will drive you at the edge of your seat. On the other hand, Jessica Alba sizzles as the love interest.

Statham has become the latest Charles Bronson styled action hero and is keeping the faith. I like Bronson in the original Mechanic and Jason reprises his role to a higher degree. I could see Bronson as the Transporter as well so the match in styles is perfect. The interaction between our hero and the Inspector is typical of the relationship one would expect from a vigilante type and LE.

Quality is excellent, but this feels like it was supposed to go straight-to-home release

I liked it better than the first one. The plot does try (and fail) to be different from the standard revenge/save-the-girl bit but it just wasn't convincing enough for it to work. It is easily one of the better Statham movies though so not sure why it got such bad reviews, there are some great locations and epic action sequences that make it worth the watch.
