I'm a die hard fan of World War II games. This is the best Medal of Honor game I've ever played. It gives you the ability to land in different locations when entering battle, a very nice change-up in the right direction. A fresh new era of World War II games are sure to imitate this game.

This game is just average. One would think it would be amazingly cool with its whole new look and jumping out of a plane and you control your destiny from that point, but its not that amazing. One thing that is not very realistic is the fact you can upgrade your weapons. Another thing that is not realistic is that when you progress throughout the game, you face harder and harder people who raise in level from 1 - 10. One the last level you have to face a bunch of soldiers who are "tens" and they can take so many bullets its like they are not even human. Its like bringing back an aspect to some of those games who have a "boss" at the end of the level or end of the game. Anyway this game is cool--for a while, and i would not recommend paying the listed price for this game.

A new spin on an old classic, airborn takes you into battle as no other game has. This was great in that you actually have a starting off spot which is jumping out of a plane to take on hordes of german soldiers, unlke many of the predecessors where you seem to start from the middle of nowhere. The graphics and timing of shooting and being shot look great, both in missions and online.

Medal of Honor Airborne is one of the best WWII games I have ever played. The gameplay and graphics are outstanding. The only thing is it is kind of hard on the normal setting. If you are not a veteran of the Medal of Honor games then you will need to play it on the easy setting. Other then that it is an awesome game.

This is a great game with awesome graphics. Sometimes jerky shooting and confusing maps are about the only thing that keeps it from getting a 5 star rating from me. Love how you can earn modifications for weapons. And landing can be a bit tricky at times. Great game.

I only give it a 4 because I am a fan. If this was my first time playing it, it would've been a 5/5. Hardcore fans probably give it a 3 hence its not that different from previous MoH game.

This is a very solid game, it is fun, the graphics are great, and it's an overall good game. But, it does have its quircks. Sometimes people will run through walls, or fall out of buildings. Also, if you're a fan of realistic war games, this is not for you. The enemies will target you no matter what. On the HUSKY mission i was in a tower and people were shooting at and hitting me from the mansion when there were other americans 10 yards in front of them. I did enjoy the game, and I think that most people will to. The hardcore group out there will probably not be a big fan of it.

Having played all the previous medal of honor and call of duty games I found this one lacking, it was a little to easy even on the hardest level. The graphics were great as well as the parachuting to begin whever you wanted in a mission. Overall wish I had not spent the $60 on this game, could have bought something better.

Best WWII shooter I've played

I've read a lot of complaints about the shooting/accuracy not being "realistic". A soldier for 8 years, a police officer after that with some experience in both shooting and witnessing someone being shot, I'd say the shooting in this game is probably the most realistic I've seen in a game. Especially compared to the actual military stats on rounds fired per enemies killed. Most would probably be surprised (even with todays technology). Some would be surprised also to know that most people are not stopped, much less killed, by being shot a single time or even several times with small arms (unless it's a head/heart/lung shot-and of course they may bleed out many minutes later no matter where they're hit). We shoot differently today with sight reconfigurations, etc. Try adjusting how you use the sites on the M1 (probably a little higher than your doing). I've hit five in a row head shots with the M1 in the game several times at a fair distance. Short of head shots, if their not dropping right away, it doesn't mean your missing. I think it makes the game more realistic. It takes more than most think to kill a man. Especially one who is energized by combat. One last comment on realistic game-play. The super-soldier at the end is what cost the game a point for me leaving it at 4 stars. He's almost impossible to kill and when you do (won't spoil it for some with how, but I've found two ways so far) he respawns. My favorite shooters of all time is the Ghost Recon series, but the shooting in them is pretty unrealistic when you consider how easy it is to put down a foe and keep him there. So, instead of being frustrated by not having everything drop with every point and shoot, realize that your probably experiencing gameplay in the shooting category that's more REALISTIC than anything you've played before.

I have been a fan of the moh games since psx. This one is a pretty good game but it's nothing spectacular. Sure the parachuting anywhere (mostly) is pretty cool but it has been done before (the battlefield games.) The upgrade system for the guns is a great new innovation. The game is quite short, only six missions and it can really suck if you land right by an enemy and he beats you to death before you can even get out your gun. The muliplayer is decent. If you're playing TDM Airborne and you'tr the axis, remember to keep looking to the sky. I would get killed counless times by a paratrooper kicking me. They also have recycled a few maps from the pc game Allied Assault for the multiplayer which brings back a few fun memories. One last thing that I don't like is that when ever you aim down the sites, you can't walk like on Call of Duty, you can only lean. So it's not a bad game and if your not tired of WW2 yet, pick it up.

WWII FPS at its BEST

First off, if you are a casual gamer who loves WWII FPS's, then this is the game for you. This is the 4th installment of MoH I have now and it is most certainly the best.
The graphics are by far the best I've seen. It felt like i was using a HD TV.
Some of the mechanics return from MoH: European Assault like the Iron Sight Lean, which allows you to lean around/above/below cover to fire at enemies. But there is also some new, like the crouch-sprint. If you are in a crouched position, hold sprint and you will sprint, but much lower than if you were standing up, and at the same speed.
The sound is also amazing. And its not just the musical score, which they bring back a few old tunes that owners of MoH: Frontline will recognize. But the sound effects of bullets whizzing past, or hitting nearby, and what I like especially are the effects of your character walking around. How many WWII games do you walk around on rubble or in a broken building and still hear that same old "thump thump thump" of your footstep? In MoH: Airborne you can hear the rubble crumbling underneath your feet, or the mushing of the dirt/grass.
That leads me into the Enemy A.I. Even on casual, enemy A.I. is superb. The sound of crunching rubble beneath your feet can either give away your posiition to enemies, or give away their position to you. Also, If you take out a bunch of enemies but sit and hold position, they will either A)multiply and continue assaulting you B) flank you C) both. More often than not its both.
The upgradeable weapons, some say is unrealistic. How? You mean to tell me that no American soldiers used a 50 clip for their Thompson? And no Germans added a scope to their MP44 Sturmgewer? Please. There is no way anywon can fully upgrade all the available weapons (three upgrades per) in one playing of the game, so that adds to replayability. You may have beaten the game while upgrading your M1 Gerand, Thompson and BAR, but what about the shotgun, German Kar98, or MP40? Its a mouch tougher challenge playing the game with these weapons in order to upgrade them...ESPECIALLY the bolt action Kar98, make sure you fire from behind cover while using that one.
The online play isn't so hot. I'm sure it would be fine, but everyone is off playing Halo3 and CoD4, so its hard finding a match with more then 5 people.
BOTTOM LINE: THIS IS A TOUGH BUT FUN WWII FPS. A STEAL AT THE LISTED PRICE.

This is a very well established and interesting game, it is fun, the graphics are great, and it's an overall good game. But, it does have its flaws. The enemies will target you no matter what. As you use weapons you will gain bonus parts for that weapon, but every time you get a new qualification badge everything goes slow motion and it is very hard to stay alive when this happens in the heat of the battle. The aiming is slightly off, like a miscalculation in the programming. But this is a very good game in all aspects.

I was very impressed with this game especially since EA made it. You must first realize that is a WWII game and that is what your getting. In my opinion WWII has been played out but Airborne adds a new dimension by having you jump into the levels. I am a little bias because I myself was Airborne and logged almost 100 jumps in my time.
Anyway, This game is definitely worth having if WWII First Person Shooters are your thing.
Oh, Online is nice too. Much like COD2.

Definitely one of the best WWII shooters for the Xbox 360! The single player campaign mode is considerably short like most shooter games are. Unless you plan on playing a lot of multiplayer I suggest only renting this game. Many complain about the automatic weapon recoil and inability to hit your target. As you use these weapons they are awarded upgrades like a recoil reducer which will help with the precision of your shots. Rent or Buy...either way you won't be disappointed!

Multiplayer is a blast.....once you finally connect to the online EA servers! As of 9-12-07 it may take serveral attempts to connect to an on online game which is a frequent occurance (regaudless of your router, ISP, or NAT). A few of the online maps are carried over from the previous Medal of Honor (MOH:AA).
Single player is your adverage WW II FSP, but with the option of starting at any location on the map (which is a great concept).

This is the 11th installment of Medal of Honor Franchise. EA has done it again as far as First Person Shooters go. The only problem with the game is that it only has seven levels but they can be long. You can get Weapons Upgrades where you can turn a Thompson into a real Tommy Gun with Drum Magazine. Great Game !!
