Bad Battery Life But Great Suction

I bought this through insurance and paid the extra money to get it because I was told it was the best one. It was fine the first month then started having slow suction where I needed to crank the level pretty high for it to feel like it was working. The battery life doesn't last long and when it gets down to half way and less seems like it doesn't work as much as it should still.

Absolutely amazing product. Works just as well as the pumps that you can rent from the hospital.

Pump was nice at first. After about 2 months I started having problems with an “air leak” despite there not being any evidence of an air leak. Eventually the machine would correct itself and start to work after a random amount of time. After working with Medela’s customer service, they couldn’t figure out how to get the air leak error message to stop. The most recent time the error message came up was while I was traveling and didn’t have access to a power source (one of the reasons I initially got the pump since it can be charged) and the pump almost immediately died. I was stuck on a 6-hour car ride on a Sunday with no way to reach Medela to initiate a replacement or get any other kind of support. Really disappointed in the reliability of this pump. It certainly isn’t worth the cost, the headache, or the unknown of when it will decide not to work.
