It took quite a while, but Capcom brought Mega Man back and they pretty much nailed it! Mega Man 11 looks great on the Switch, and it runs flawlessly. The controls are tight and responsive, too. This game is really great to play and mostly sticks to traditional Mega Man gameplay. The only difference is the gear system that allows you to either power up your attacks or speed you up (essentially slowing time), and it works well, too. The level design is pretty good, too. There's definitely some tricky bits, though thoughtful use of the aforementioned gear system can definitely help! While the game itself isn't too long, there's plenty of extra modes and multiple difficulty settings to keep you playing after beating the game. This is an excellent game, and hopefully Capcom is at work on more games like this!

This game actually got me to revisit the 1st 10 games after having no proior interest and its bin great. Props for making something that feels relatively fresh when we all know the megaman basic formula.

Got this because Ive been wanting to play the other mega man games but didn’t want to wait for the others to ship. I love the game but I suck at it. If you like platform games I recommend it it 9/10.

I've been playing mega man games since I bought 2&3 from Funcoland in the early 90's. I have the two collections on Gamecube and a few of the games on Nintendo portables. But this game is the first real release on the Switch from Capcom. The two compilations on Switch are cop-outs, since you have to download half of them unlike PS4/XB1. This, much like the Zero/ZX collection, has the ENTIRE game on the card. Now onto the game. The art is beautiful, the gameplay is smooth and the design is nostalgic. But dear lord, this game is hard. I had the game for almost a month before I was finally able to beat the first boss (I followed the recommended order and started with Block Man). I got a feeling its going to be a LOOOOONG time before i beat this game.

A beloved icon has returned and it’s an enjoyable entry in the series. The difficulty is some what brutal akin to the 8-bit days of old. That’s a good thing. Graphics and gameplay fit the times now as it tries to strike a balance of old & new.

Of course I love all mega man games so this is a must. I got it for switch so I can play it on the go any where. Great game very fun and very arcade like with much replay value. Best Buy did great with fast digital copy and had absolutely no problems redeeming the code. Great job Capcom and Best Buy.

Difficulty in this game is at 11 even in normal difficulty. I set it to easy to reduce frustration. If you like the old games, you will love this one. Levels have great variety and the acquired weapons are some of the best in the series. Time slow is absolutely necessary to beat levels and adds a great dynamic to the game. I recommend.

If your not looking for a challenge then pass on this. Don't think this is harder than the originals but it pretty tough. Gameplay 8/10 Graphics 9/10 Challenge 8/10 Hopefully this helps you decide.

Have been playing Mega Man games for 30 years now and they never disappoint. Fun graphics and challenging gameplay as always. Highly recommend.

A little nestalgia goes a long way. Great game, lots of fun, cool new gameplay gear system...very challenging, but multiple difficulty options to choose from. Accessible for all ages.

The game is amazing . Is long enough and the price is a value . You need to get it. Took me 2 week to finish it on my break time

Really great game! My 6 yr old son loves it! He is still learning to read and has no problem playing this game.

Gameplay is very much the same as the previous games in the series. Was originally put off by the updated graphics but they grew on me and look really good when playing. Like every other Mega Man game it is very challenging and can be frustrating at times. Overall really enjoyed the game.

Mega Man returns.. and is awesome! Lots of fun and on the go (on the Switch), along with crisp graphics and gameplay form one of the Blue Bomber’s more memorable adventures. Nice variety on the bosses too, and an adjustable difficulty level for those who aren’t the best at platformers.

Good game reminds me of my child hood gonna have to go and purchase all the other games now

If you enjoy Megaman games you will like this one for sure.

I have no regrets purchasing this game. It is an excellent throwback to the old Mega Man games of the 8-bit and 16 - bit generation, and it is just as difficult. There is not much of a story in this game; if you are looking for one, might as well look elsewhere. However, the story is simple enough to start a level and blast away, which is great because there are not cut scenes. When I play a game, I prefer to play than watch cut scenes. The graphics are awesome, and the game is difficult, which is welcome. Games are not easier than before, but this one increases the difficulty. Overall, highly recommended.
