Great comeback from the series.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is exactly what classic Mega Man for 2020´s should be. Great game, made with care and attention to detail. Switch version lacks anti aliasing but it is portable. Give it a try if you haven´t played this series since the mid 90´s, you might really find it a fun challenge.

A super polished 11th entry
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This entry retains a good amount of its old school difficulty meshed with fun, original level designs and a new mechanic in the Double-Gear system that is refreshing and fun. The art is beautiful and the game is very responsive. The most fun old school Mega-Man game I have played in a long time.

Mega Man headed in the right direction
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You know how it goes. You run, jump, slide, shoot through a dozen or so stages earning special weapons from bosses to defeat Dr. Wiley. So what's new here? The Speed and Power gears! Governed by a rechargeable meter these two gears give Mega some MMX levels of power. Speed gear slows down time which is necessary given how fast danger comes your way now. Power gear boosts your mega buster and makes boss weapons into near instant screen clearing weapons of destruction. If you use the gears too long they'll overheat, becoming unusable until they cool down. Unfortunately the Gears actually make the game harder since everything is designed around using them liberally. Enemies have shields or armore more frequently now. Or their hit points will take more precision to actually hit. The bosses are pretty generic save a few. Thankfully the stages are lengthy and pose a greater challenge than even the bosses do. The 2.5d graphics are a welcome evolution after the 8bit style chosen for the previous games. Everything is bright and colorful like Mega Man 8. Sound effects and music are what you'd expect. Nothing really memorable but nothing flat out terrible either. After you beat the main game there are some challenge modes to play to extend the game's value. Amiibos just give you a random bonus item while in-stage. And they are limited one use per amiibo per day. So this Mega Man is a good sequel to the long running series. It plays it safe in some ways and takes risks in others. It won't win you over if you don't like the series though.

Best classic mega man since 2
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally feel this is the return to form for the blue bomber. Robot masters, graphics the double gear system everything is done exceptionally well here. I personally would recomend picking this up on the switch because the portability factor makes it great for pick up and play sessions.

Megaman 11 an Accessible Megaman Game
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Megaman is one of those games I always get pulled towards even though I'm not so hot at these games. I'm more of a turn-base JRPG gamer, but Megaman is so charming. Megaman 8 is one of the first games I beat as a kid and it is the only Megaman game I have ever beat besides Megaman Legends --which is a bit more up my alley. Megaman 11 offers all the difficulty that hardcore fans will appreciate or any new fans looking for an oldschool game with a high difficulty. This game is not as hard as previous games and that is partly to the quality of life aspects this version has, but you can certainly play it at it's hardest input. In turn it is a very accessible Megaman game. If you have kids or if you are wanting to get into this series, this could be a place to start.

Mega Man 11
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd say that Mega Man 11 and all its other games are great, but once you play Mega Man and finish it, you're going to be left there like, "Oh, I finished everything. What now?". Then you just abandon the game. The good part about Mega Man 11 is that the graphics are good, the bosses were somewhat creative! I'd rate this game a 4 star.

A little easy for "experts", but amazing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hey everyone. I feel the need to explain my Mega Man history before I go on. I started playing when I was 10 or so on Mega Max X (SNES, 93'). Since then, I have played all but maybe 2 or 3 of the games he's been in (and that's well over 30 titles). This game still feels very much like a Mega Man game, and that's a high praise. They made it a little easier than what I'm used to, where if you mess a jump up in a series of 10 difficult jumps you'd either die or miss your chance to get a special item, but it's still challenging enough that someone who enjoys platformers would enjoy it too. Mega Man has these new "speed", "power", and "double" gear systems to let him slow time and get super powerful shots for a limited time. These new elements are fun to use, and almost feel like cheating in the hands of an experienced player. Combine all that with a great sound track, pretty visuals, and you have a solid title.

Classic mega man style with New Age twist
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a return to the classic NES Mega Man style but with new shiny stylized graphics and Time slow/power of mechanics. A true successor to what made mega man great. Tough platforming and challenging levels. Many mega man fans are very satisfied.

I personally am a fan of X, but this has my liking in terms of graphics, game play, story line, and difficulty. Haven't played a Mega Man game like this since Mega Man X4.

Classic Mega Man with a twist
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game evokes the feeling of the classics with the added ability to slow down time or increase your damage for short periods to mix up the normal Mega Man gameplay. Voice acting and models are nice as well.

Nostalgic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great Mega Man game. Very similar to the originals for NES, with improved graphics. No complicated story, Dr. Wily is back and going after Mega Man with some new gadget. It has the same formula that you'll need to play the levels over and over again until you figure out the best way to make it through. Levels are great, picturesque, fun and challenging. Each area has those spots when you jump up and get hit with a surprise, then fall below and get hit with respawned enemies or fall into a pit, spikes, etc. and die. Or the levels with wind, snow, water, etc...and you have to battle the elements, only to overcompensate right when it stops and get hit, fall, and die. It's annoying, but that's the challenge, just like the old games. Then figuring out the boss order and tricks to defeat each. This has been challenging and fun!

A game for the fans
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I couldn't have asked capcom for more with this game. If you love mega man you are sure to love this one as well. New game mechanics don't feel force but natural, awesome idea for the series. The bosses are also very memorable.

Great for nostalgia
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall is a good game with decent graphics and framerate. The double gear system is a great inclusion to game mechanics while preserving all the great action that is now a standard for classic mega-man games. It feels retro and classic but is not quite the same experience you may remember from previous installments

Nostalgia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good game for those who were fan of the series or for those new to it. High difficulty has very few checkpoints, but even if you die you get bolts that can help you strength Mega and still keep the gameplay worthwhile

Great game for a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its been a long while since I liked a Mega Man game, and this one is great. The style feel like a HD version of the older games. The Double Gear system is good, and adds a good bit to the plat-forming. Can't recommend this enough.

Nostalgia
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Playing this game brought me back to my original playing N.E.S. days. Graphics and sounds are great. The gameplay is kind of hard, even on the easier setting. I just wished the gameplay was longer, but overall great game.
