I know that there is more content on the Mega Man Anniversary Collection on Xbox, PS2, & NGC, but if you buy it, it shows Capcom that we still have interest in a new Mega Man game. Thankfully, there is enough content for a solid experience. There is the first six Mega Man games, Concept and Box art, a music player with all of the songs from the first six games, and the game comes with 2 new themes and a code to download mega man songs. I wish that you could zoom in the screen but besides that is my only real complaint. Overall, especially is you price match with Amazon, it's a good deal and a great way to play Mega Man on the go.

I grew up solidly within the NES era, and I distinctly remember owning Mega Man 3-5 as a kid. While I never beat any of those games, I did manage to get through the Robot Master stages (the Dr. Wily levels are insanely hard). I impulse bought this game (it's cheaper to pick up most of these separately on the eShop) basically to have something to quickly pick up and play during flights...and now I can't get past any level. I always lose at least 1 life navigating the level itself, then get stomped by the bosses. I *think* the controls are a little laggier/less responsive in this collection than the original NES games, but I think it's more of an indictment of the fact I am older and don't really have "gamer reflexes" anymore.

The graphics are presented in a "pixel perfect" sorta mode, which means there's borders along all sides of the game and not just the left and right. This makes the picture feel a little small, even on the 3DS XL. But the base brightness setting is higher than the virtual console versions which make this collection more preferred. Games like these need iterative practice so playing on portable where you can easily put down and pick up makes it ideal for taking a mental break from the game then coming back later. It's my preferred method as opposed to the console versions where you can feel compelled to keep playing for hours since you're supposedly relaxed and at home where it's easy to do that.

There's not much to say in terms of what to expect, you get the first 6 mega man games in one package, and it's pretty awesome.

Purchased this for my 3ds ...its a excellent collection of all the classics all in one package..a must have for any old school gamer..i love it cannot stop playing it.

It's great. There are a lot of extras, like concept art and music. There are also challenges that add to replay value. I want a MegaMan X collection.

Waited months for this to come out and it has really impressed me, great collection for a great price! A must have for every Mega Man fan!!

Megman collection a fun. Basically it's 6 titles on 1 cart. Only buy if your a physical collector otherwise get digitally cheaper.

This great game includes Mega Man 1 through Mega Man 6. I like how it includes an encyclopedia so you can look up what enemies weaknesses are, and the music player is really great. The only problem I have is the incidental lag, especially on the Top Man and Cut Man stages.

Great value if you like mega man. 6 games for 30 bucks.

love me some MegaMan specially the originals only reason for 4 stars is due to the DS not the game itself........my hands get tired after a bit of holding to the DS.......but thats just cuz i CANT stop playing this game over and over and over

THIS GAME BRINGS BACK GREAT MEMORIES OF THE NINTENDO NES VERSION OF MEGA MAN ABSOLUTELY A GREAT WAY TO EXPERIENCE A LOST TREASURE BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE ON YOUR NINTENDO 3DS.. . DEFINITELY WORTH PICKING UP. IF YOUR A FAN OF MEGA MAN THIS IS A MUST HAVE. FULL VERSION OF THE ORIGINAL MEGA MAN 1 THUR 6 .

The game is exactly how it was back on the old school consoles but that being said the game is hard. Great for nostalgia but newer players getting into the series be careful the game is very difficult

I missed these games growing up. Not sure how but the interwebs wasn't a thing back then and I didn't find out about these games until well after they had come out. From playing it at a friends house a couple of times I've always been fascinated by this series. Now I'm able to play through all the games I missed. Great collection. Grab it if you can find it.

This is perfect for any megaman fan looking to relive the original games that started it all. The updated graphics make it enjoyable to those that have already played through many times.

This is simply a great collection of some of the most difficult platforming games ever made with some of the best 8-bit music ever. The collection is a faithful re-release of all the Mega Man games with a nice addition of a music player for those that are a big fan of the music. Yes, it is cheaper to buy this digitally. However, the addition of the free theme and a few stickers make this definitely worth grabbing in physical form.
