Overall it's average but there are a few things that are obvious issues. 1. If you're making just a small amount of coffee, the water level in the carafe doesn't show from the outside so you can't consistently fill the same amount. 2. The light on the coffee maker is SO bright, it lights up a room, seriously. 3. My lid for the water compartment is beginning to curl up and I've only had it for a few months. Even with all these problems, I still prefer a thermos to a glass pot so I live with these issues.
