With Flyleaf's first CD it took me a while to figure out they were a Christian rock band. Their singles hinted at it, with "All Around Me" being the most overt -- it took buying the CD and hearing "Cassie" for the first time to lock it in -- but with Memento Mori (Latin translation: "Remember you will die") you're hit with their allegiance right out of the gate, and, to paraphrase Gen 1, it is good: "Beautiful Bride" and "Again" practically whack you over the head with a Christian worldview that sets up the rest of the album. The CD consists of 10 songs followed by an interlude and then 3 more songs. Practically all 10 in the first block are strong, but for some reason the final block of 3 fall flat -- maybe because by the end of the CD we're hearing some musical repetition. Flyleaf is a very musically imaginative band, but the imagination does seem to run out by the end. Still, it's a very listenable CD with very strong songs and a consistency of quality that was missing from the first CD -- if you liked Flyleaf's debut, you should get this one.

This band's singer is very good. Powerful vocals from her.

I was really excited for this album and it still has some really good tracks, but looking back on it I probably wouldn't have bought it. Some of the songs have quite bizarre arrangements and I think they should have focused more on quality vs quantity, as the expanded edition has 19 songs and the version I have has 21. That and I hate the cover art A LOT. To me, it looks stupid. Overall, good effort but definitely not as amazing as their first.

I like this disc a lot. I think it's a nice follow-up to their debut cd. Their sound is more mature and diverse. There's a great mix of songwriting. The songs that rock still have the edge of their first disc. The slower songs contribute balance. And for what it's worth: I saw Flyleaf in concert recently and they're awesome! Buy this cd, you won't be disappointed.

This is a great CD, although I like their first a bit better. The more I listen the more I like it. Some of the songs not played on the radio are the best on the CD.

My opinion to the Fly Leaf Memento Mori album is its amazing the lyrics by Lacey are a inspiration and she is phenomenal female vocalist I think everyone should purchase this album because the whole band is excellent.And every last song is at its best.

Let's bring it on FLYLEAF is an amazing band with a very awesome frontwomen the vocals I think is what sets them in the foreground with all the heavyhitters they are definitly amazing and this album proves it GO AND BUY IT!

Nice CD. Has some really good songs on this CD, about as good as Flyleaf's first CD.

I liked flyleaf's first album. saw them in concert. i was totaly blown away by this one. was not expecting this. an amazing album. the vocals are awesome.

I love Flyleaf but as long as we waited for a follow up it's disappointing!
