Although they don't hold as much data as most sd cards or hard drives, these things are pretty cheap and are good for storing large files (such as pictures) in physical form. Useful if you want to save large files for long term (but infrequent) access, like a museum archive or personal catalogs.

These discs do what I need and let me store information on a portable media.

I chose Memorex this time because I know that Memorex is a good company. I really don't know the difference between quality of the different makers of DVD's. These had a good price and so I chose them...I have not needed to do a download yet so I can't tell how good they are!

I use this product to create DVD backups of the movies I purchase. That way I can store my original DVDs away so that they are kept in mint condition as I use the backup copies to watch at my leisure. This helps my anger issues whenever a movie becomes ruined by scratches and/or when a borrowed movie is never returned. This product is great for such use as it holds the described data well and does a good job retaining it. I've experienced difficulties with similar products by different brands. Some of them tend to only work properly for a handful of times before they start skipping and/or freezing. At that point, the disc is intolerable and is considered trash. With these DVDs by Memorex, I don't really have this issue. Also, the amount of discs that come in the package being compliant are for the most part, all of them. Occasionally, two or three out of a pack may not work at all but that is a low number compared to other brands. Overall, the product has quality but it is my opinion that this product is over priced.

Good quality and value but the packaging isn't so great. If you're storing the dvd's afterwards on the spindle it makes it difficult. Don't know if I would purchase again for this reason.

I purchased this DVD pack to copy several dozen photos onto, and give as gifts. Each DVD performed flawlessly, no errors, no wasted DVDs. I'll purchase this product again when I next need DVDs.

Very Reliable Discs for storing photos and data. No bad discs in spool as I have encountered with cheaper brands.

Inexpensive basic good product! Just sales people at the store didn't Know much difference between other reusable dvr and other brands. Aren't they supposed to be knowledgeable about the products they sell?
