I had an old Radio Shack cassette adapter for years that finally gave up the ghost. Got this as a replacement & it's pretty straightforward. Put into cassette adapter, plug into music device & go. Only issue I have with this model is that w/ the old adapter I had, I would keep the iPod on full volume & use the car stereo volume to adjust levels. If I do that w/ this one, the sound gets totally blown out. Need to play a little more w/ the device volume v. car stereo volume to find the right balance (I've also noticed this model tends to have a slight hollow/metallic sound to it; as if listening in a parking garage, but nothing to a debilitating degree). Bottom line, it gets the job done. Try to keep the wire off the floor & away from feet/etc. for longer life.

This is a great device it sounds good, but doesn't sound perfect. I am very picky about the quality of music i listen to. This sounds good but is not audiophile quality but you cant expect that from a cassette. over all a good reliable product.

I now have a white cord coming out of the tape player and no place to store it when not in use. But it really does the job,

It is a convenient, easy to use and set up item and is an ingenious invention.

bought this for my daughter to use in her older car. this enables her to use her smartphone to play the music she likes to hear. older car and this adapter works great for her.

I have used these before and decided to buy another since I had lost my last one. I got this one but it didn't work. I thought it was my radio but it turned out that it was the tape. I got one from a different company and it works great! Don't buy the memorex brand mp3 tape.

This is a great product. It is much cheaper compared to other alternatives for listening to my iPod in the car. If your still on the fence I recommend you buy this.

My friend has one of these and it works great. I borrowed it and put in in my car with a bose stereo system and it didn't work. I ended up having to reverse and flip the cassete and it worked ok. From what ive heard it doesnt work well with bose, so if you have a bose i would agree, this isnt the product for you. Otherwise a great thing for someone who is sick of the radio and bad CD's

I wa glad for a way to listen to my iPhone in my old car and my boyfriend could use his droid too. However the cord got in the way it was too long and ended up snagging and breaking off.

Just bought a Nissan Maxima with a Bose sound system, but it is missing an auxiliary output. Bought this on my lunch break as an alternative to be able to play music on my phone... Sound quality is so awful, I returned it before even making it back to work. Don't waste your money.
