I needed a cassette player for short term use. This one did the job, but feels light in the hand with a "plastic" feel. I'm not sure it would hold up to a lot of use, especially if it's banging around in a backpack or car.

Considering people don't really use cassette players anymore, it is perfect for what I wanted to use it for.

I purchased these for my son and niece and felt like these retro devices were fun gifts for the kids. Of course they were confused, even better that this version doesn't have a rewind button, so they can see what work we had to put in to listen to our favorite tunes. Paired with tapes I purchased on Ebay, it was a nostalgic experience for me, not them so much. The sound quality isn't the best but hey, for a blast from the past, I'll take it!

This cassette player works well. The only drawback is that it does not have a rewind option, only fast forward. I was happy to find that a cassette player is still available for purchase.

It does not have a rewind button. The door does not open wide enough. You must be very exact when inserting cassette into door. For almost $30.00 this is not a good deal. At the time Best Buy was the only place to buy just a cassette player as local Wal-Mart was out of them.

I suppose this unit was as good as it could be for the price and for the fact the it will be used for old audio tech. Not a bad purchase.

I purchased this product for the am/fm radio. It is nice to have the capability to listen to cassette tapes and have a radio. When we lost power during the hurricane, we found out we had no contact with weather stations or local news. This product works very well.

Great if you have a lot of cassettes and need a small player.

Words cannot explain how terrible this tape player is. It felt like it was simply going to fall apart at any moment. Cassette tapes are a pain to get into the player. It played everything SUPER fast, chipmunk style. Absolutely unuseable.

I bought this cassette player because I had 4 cassettes from years back, one of which had a song that I needed someone else to hear. It is very light weight, so easy to pack along, but doesn't have a good "solid" feel in your hand. It served its purpose well but I don't feel it will hold up to heavy use.

EVERYONE KNOWS THAT CASSETTES ARE OUT. HOWEVER, FOR SOME REASON, MOST OF US HAVE ONE KICKING AROUND WITH A PASSED LOVED ONES VOICE, OR A RECORDING OF SEEING A MEDIUM OR WHATEVER. WELL, SAVE YOURSELF THE DISAPPOINTMENT. I BOUGHT THIS JUST FOR ONE OF THE REASON'S I MENTIONED, AND RIGHT OUT OF THE PACKAGE IT WOULD NOT PLAY A 90 MINUTE TAPE WHERE THE VOICES WERE EVEN THE LEAST BIT UNDERSTANDABLE. I BROUGHT A BOOKSHELF SYSTEM INTO THE HOUSE THAT I HAD BOXED UP QUITE AWHILE AGO, PLUGGED THE THING IN, THREW THE TAPE IN AND IT PLAYED LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO. I WAS HESITANT TO BUY THIS PLAYER IN THE FIRST PLACE, BUT I DID IT SO MY WIFE COULD LISTEN TO THIS TAPE ANYWHERE...KITCHEN, BED, OR OFFICE. AND IT WAS A "NO GO"...LITERALLY. I AM GOING TO ATTEMPT TO RETURN IT. I CAN'T FIND MY RECEIPT, BUT I AM A REWARDS MEMBER AND MY PURCHASING HISTORY IS STORED THERE. IF YOU DO BUY IT, HANG ONTO YOUR RECEIPT AND SEE HOW IT WORKS SOON AFTER PURCHASE AND RETURN IT PROMPTLY IF IT DOESN'T. I GAVE IT 1 STAR...BECAUSE YOU LITERALLY CANNOT GIVE IT ZERO!

price too much, bad reception cannot use radio , does not have antenna

My husband has some old cassettes & he needed a player. You can’t find to many of these in stores anymore, but found it at Best Buy. My husband says it works very well & likes the fact that it has a AM/FM radio.

I have had issues with the playing and fast forward. I have tried different brands of batteries but nothing seems to make it play well. It is not bad and I would recommend it if you needed a more inexpensive portable cassett player

Bought this for an elderly woman wanting to play old cassettes tapes. This was very cheaply made and the radio didn’t work. Wish someone would make a cassette player of better quality. There is still a market for them.

This product does work well, but the headphones that are included with it sounds like you are listening to your music using tin cans. So if you buy it, be prepared to buy separate decent headphones.

good product and hard to find item. wanted to hook up to my computer to convert cassettes to MP3 and it worked

I used it... One time. For a second. Because this is the only amount of time that something actually played out of the thing. This didn't play pretty much at all and is just a piece of worthless plastic.
