poor performance of CD

Looks operationally the same, but CD player -- key feature I wanted -- took MANY tries to get it to work once, then it never would work again. Item was returned.

The first 3 nights it worked fine. I was a little bugged by how loud the cd player was to load the music. On the fourth night it would not start on the first cd song and it took forever for it to start player. By the fifth night I was trying all different kinds of tricks to get it to work with no results.
