Stay away from this unit!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my grandmother on mother's day.. she loves listening to her gospel cd's and a few classics. the radio clunked out by august so I exchanged it for another one (thank god for the protection plan).. Guess what, the holidays are here and this radio clunked out again. I won't be getting another. I will try another brand and hopefully find a unit that will last longer than 2 months.

Do Not Buy!!!!!!

The lid for the compartment for the CD broke on the first one the very first week. I was able to replace it with a whole new player. About 2 months later the lid broke again. A month after that the antenna broke off. I have started using duct tape to hold the lid down to play CDs and stopped using the radio all together. Waste of money. Do Not Buy.

Display is digital, but AM/FM tuner is not "rotary on side", so the stations it did pick up drifted a lot because of no quartz lock on tuning. Maybe if you want it just for MP3 use it might be ok, but the radio part of it is junk.

It has an analog tuner with an LCD display, which I could lived with, however as soon as I started going to higher frequencies the tuner would not go back down. By the time I gave up the tuner would not go below 106.0 fm. Took it back the same day.

Its would not read the tracks , it would spin ! Tried multiple CD's . Returned immediately ! Got a SONY zsbtg900 with light show ! on sale 129.99 now Happy!
