This is the second iPod stereo that I've purchased. I really like the size and simplicity. It's smaller than my netbook - and comes with a great little carrying case to protect it. The sound is decent - what I would expect from a product of this size and price. I don't love the volume control. Your iPod volume is overriden by the dock volume controls, which allow for a less exact "perfect" volume. It certainly won't cause me to return the item, but if I had better control over the volume, I would give this a full 5 stars.

I have purchased other portable ipod players in the past, all have cost more and all have been much larger and very bulky.... All of that changed when i purchased the memorex compact travel speaker system. The speakers get very loud with minimal distortion and are very light and travel anywhere easily with the protective pouch that comes with the speaker..... I'm very happy that i bought this item and you will be too.

I just picked this up to dock my Ipod in my Son's room. I added a lullabye playlist that my daughter absolutely loved (and still does) when she went to sleep. This design was perfect for our needs. Compact and easy to travel with was what we needed. I will echo a complaint of another review, the volume control. I wish the Ipod volume control was not overridden. It seems that at certain levels the sound is either too low or too high. Adjustment via the Ipod would have been ideal. Still a great unit and I would recommend.

It is small but has good sound for a small unit. It is perfect for anyone who is looking for a small system to use with their Ipod. I would definitely recommend this to someone else.
