Some music sounds better on CD . This memorex cd player plays cda and mp3 files on rewitable discs. cdr and cdrw . i highly recommend its use.

This player is great for my 1000 cd collection. Performs very well. I love it! Sorry vinyl lovers, cds ares still better.

CD player is great, but Best Buy could NOT provide the proper cable to be able to play this in my car (a KIA), so I had to return it.

Very basic CD player. Wished there was a way for it to stop at a certain point and then go back to that point after turning off. Delicate, need to handle with great care. Earphones that came with the player are barely adequate.

Love this product. My CD player quit working in my car. Using this with aux cord until I can afford to replace my car cd player.

This is my second Memorex CD player. The other one lasted for years. I recommend this player. It’s easy to operate and wasn’t expensive.

Great cd player with antiskip feature. Difficult to think these were super expensive when I was a kid.

This unit is perfect for casual listening, like hanging out poolside. The 60 second buffer lets you reposition it or move it to adjust EQ without unintentionally interrupting the music. Essential for a portable player like this. The player is very light, not much wider than a CD and about as tall as 3 stacked CD cases. It has big easy to operate buttons with a very positive feel and click. It comes complete with ear buds and 2 ‘AA’ batteries. You are set to go out of the box, just add your desired CD. I used store bought music CD’s as well as some CD-R discs I made. All played perfectly. It seems easy on batteries. The two ‘AA’ batteries it came with are still going strong after listening to several CD’s. But if you plan to use it allot, you may do well to get rechargeable batteries. There is a 4.5 Volt DC jack so you can plug it into a wall jack if that suits you, but the AC power adapter is an extra cost item if you need it. There are always some concessions made with any product. Fortunately they are minor. • The earbuds are pretty basic, sound OK, but not built to last. Ok to get started or for a casual listen now and then. But if you plan to use it much, you’ll want better buds or earphones. You have to expect this with any included ear buds at this price point. • The EQ is OK, but you only have 3 choices. I would have preferred a bass/treble or 3 band EQ to better fine tune the sound, but no portables seem to have that feature. • I found it unexpected that a portable player has no case, strap, belt clip, or even some slots to provide the ability to add a strap to aid in taking it with you. Even if that is to just move about the yard while cutting the lawn or gardening. You’ll need a bag to put it in if you really plan to be mobile while using it. A 50 round magazine drum for a Thompson machine gun hung of the mower works, but it’s not an elegant solution. There is a Bluetooth version, but it was sold out. I would opt for Bluetooth to increase the headphone options and ditch the tether. Some Bluetooth headphones come with EQ adjustments that would be useful. Something to think about if its available to you. All things considered, it’s a good deal price for a ready to go sturdy CD playing solution.

Wanted to listen to old cds so I got this player. Works very well. No issue w/ skipping

Nice design compact and works well with my CDs. Will tell you if CD has a scratch because it will skip in that area.

Works great since my new car does not have a cd player. I am old school and wanted to continue listening to my cds.
